I've a nickname that is my identity but given by someone I never expected though I don't hate it like some of people do instead I kind of love it and I'm sure you'll also love to know the origins of my quizzical nickname I never told before to anyone.
The Story Behind my 'I Don't Know' Nickname
The "IDK" You see in my username is taken from my own nickname actually and some frens have asked me what 'IDK' means, so yeah. It is kind of Quizzical which means "I Don't Know" but the way I got this name is something that excites me to tell.
It is about that time of the year when I was fully addicted to mobile and had disconnected myself with real world.
Everyone is doing their stuff, gathering or chit chat meanwhile I'm scrolling on screen and playing games.
Some guests visited our home and I meet them (nah, I wasn't using mobile that time), mom cooked food and we ate together. It was all good and when they left I got busy with my normal routine of using mobile.
Like I've disconnected myself to real world and don't know what's going on around me anymore as my headphones are plugged in.
Now after few minutes I heard mom saying something "she said, did you know where the milk is gone? I left that in kitchen to make tea for myself" I said, No. I don't know.
Next minute, she found out a stray cat leaving the kitchen after drinking the whole milk.
She was like real mad not because that milk or cat (she loves cat tho) but cuz of tiredness and wanted tea badly for headache but that time I got my nickname of not knowing anything. Literally said someone will steal your clothes you've wore and still you won't know what has happened while using mobile 😂.
I was like oh, that's something I can't disagree with. later went out and bought tea for her from restaurant and sigh of relief.
But ever since till now whenever someone try to ask me of anything like do you know where is this thing placed, she'll be like no way he knows that.
Everyone think I know nothing and that's where real fun is.. I said I don't know myself, so let's keep this nickname as an identity and yeah, now it is my username since years lol.
Wrapping Up...
That's the backstory and it was unexpected for me and still can't believe how that all escalated. This was the first time I actually didn't mind having a nickname that too from mom was something never thought.
Well, there was a time I had multiple one's but didn't liked any single one and always hated but there's this story.
