Lies, Lies and it was all a Lie. Realizing now in my 20s.
My Father told me he's going to buy the Milk from shop for lil bro, Say no more ain't buying you chocolate and take care of him.
Slammed the door so hard and he's Gone. It's been 10mins already, shop is 5 minute walk away than minutes turned into hours, days and decades. We never saw him again. That buying milk was definitely a Lie.
Oh, Alright let's be serious and I'm gonna tell you some real Lies told by parents in my childhood.
The Biggest Lie of My Childhood
When they told me Babies are delivered by an angel at doorstep like Home delivery all the way from heaven.
Was too innocent back then to do my own research on this made-up theory. Oh, Crypto bro's and their obsession with #DYOR. 😂
This angel thing was told more than once by my parents.
The Get Rich Money Scheme in one Night
First time when I lost my milk tooth they told me to keep that broken tooth under your pillow and when you're asleep a fairy will come and leave money in exchange of tooth.
After growing up I wonder what the heck that fairy will do with my poor tooth.
We all need a fairy in our life just like told by my parents.
The 6PM Deadline Ghost
In childhood times I used to have limited 2 or 3hrs time to play outside before Dawn. They told me if I stayed outside home after 6pm when the sun is gone Ghosts are out and they hunt child's roaming around the streets. I took this thing seriously.
Parents have their own plans to teach us how things work and discipline in our life. This was one of it also for my safety.
The Lightning Strike on First Child
Gone are the days when it rains outside my mom used to be like, son don't go outside in rain you're the first child and lightning will strike on you.
Like seriously Mom I'm 20 now and still alive. All thanks to her for keeping me safe from the lightning.
Wrapping up...
These are some of wholesome memories of childhood. Those days were golden to be honest when we used to be believe anything as weird as mentioned above.
It's the part of life we still miss and enjoyed most. Wish I could live in moment once again which got possible through this topic going back in nostalgia.
Though I wonder if upcoming parents like us will continue this thing? Yea, as far for me it was all good and hopefully will be for next Gen as well.
In the end do let me know in comments which part was your favorite one.
