The Perks of Daily Journaling
I've realised we should journal everyday about how we have spent our day and where we spent most of the time to organize it in a way you want it to be.
I remember yesterday I woke up at 1:30 pm and before you judge me here let me tell you I came home at 6am from work.
The things that happens when you're doing night shifts. Anyways after waking up I took shower, did breakfast and typed a few paragraphs on laptop as I was practicing typing.
Later I did preparations and went on about my day at work. While I was on my way I was writing a blog that I was suppose to publish when I get break at work, It has become my habit to write while travelling and while you're at work and that flow state I don't let that break go in vain, that's the time I hit publish button.
After journaling this down I know I wasn't wasting my time and I did what I could do even when I had time to rest.
It gives your brain more clarity and satisfaction also you could track where you're supposed to work on.
I told you about yesterday and let's see what I did today so far, it is 5:38pm as of writing this and I'm heading to work
But after waking up I did breakfast, watched a new episode of daredevil born again and than I did some pullbacks, pushups.
Trimmed my beard and took a shower and back to this at the moment writing this journal.
See the difference? I improved it and added something new today that wasn't there yesterday.
All because I had it on my journal and you could see patterns
You can see and break patterns
One thing that will surely do wonders for you when you start journaling is you'll be able to see patterns
The things that you're doing on daily basis and aren't good, you'll see what leads to those patterns and what actions you're required to break those patterns.
In order to improve you're suppose to accept and see the truth, most of us don't want to accept that we have some of those bad habits that are reason behind your underperformance. Once you figure out a way to break that loop, you'd open new doors for yourself and miracles will happen.
