In this digital world, we have social media, and because of social media, we can see various kinds of dramas. I am not talking about those dramas that already earned the title of dramas; I'm talking about those realistic dramas that are not categorized as dramas. Didn't get it? OK, then I'm going to explain about it.
Almost all of us have a social media account, and we have the right to share our thoughts, even if it's in conflict with others. Going for a controversy is a very common and natural thing, and I think till a certain limit, it's ok, and we can consider the sounding, but after crossing the limit, it's not good. Many times, such a kind of thing brings unwanted output, and things end up humiliating each other.
After a few days, they can understand their mistakes, and they come up with a video, but they confess their fault and apologize for their action. Judging by their looks, they show us how guilty they are for it, and they promise not to repeat the same mistakes. From a perspective, it's OK, and there is nothing wrong, but I want to see it from a different perspective because it's the reality in most cases. Let me share my thoughts about it.
At the beginning, they start a controversy and are trying to prove their thoughts are right; it's quite natural, and so they try to defend themselves, and there is nothing wrong with it. But as time goes on, things become out of control, and they try to humiliate each other by saying many words that they should not say. People may think that it's unintentional after seeing the apology video, but is it the truth? I don't think so.
I think those people are just toying with the reader and the viewers. They just want the publicity, and publicity can occur in two ways: one is positive publicity, which is slow, and the other is negative publicity, which is quite faster compared to the positive publicity, and those people choose the way to get the attention of people. People at the present time love to watch controversial things where people humiliate each other. For them, it's part of entertainment, and for those people, it's the way to get popularity easily.
So I believe that they start the controversy with the proper planning, and the target is to get negative publicity through this process. After achieving the target, today they start working on how to make their image clean in front of people. So, making an apology video is the best way to do it, and at the same time, it boosts their publicity again with the video. It's like killing two birds with a single stone. So based on my opinion, I think whatever we see on social media is mostly scripted or pre-planned. At least I don't trust too much in those so-called social media.
In case anyone makes mistakes with any particular person, he or she apologizes via the inbox rather than with a public apology. It's not sincere as they have their desire to take advantage to gain popularity. I don't put too much trust in those people who have already followed the strategy to gain popularity. Even if that person makes 100 videos of apology, it's not sincere.
