We all prefer to say us smart but is it true? Nobody is smart from birth time. With time we start to be smart and I prefer to categorize them into two types. One is stress smart and the other is street smart. The smartness, as well as the knowledge we gain from our book and through our academic process, is called book smartness and those who gain that smartness are book smart. And on the other hand, the knowledge or smartness we gain from our real-life experience as well as from the street is called street smartness, and those who gain that smartness are street smart.

What do you think about me? Which one do I belong to? Can you guess?
I have said in my several articles that I am a book addicted person and gaining knowledge from books is an expected thing for me. So most of my knowledge I gained from the book as well as from the academic process. So I am a book smart human and my smartness mostly applies to systematic cases.
Once my book smartness helped me to save helped to save the life of my cousin. I can still remember that incident. I was in class 7 as well as I can remember. Although that time I wasn't a book addicted person but I used to read textbooks because of academic purposes. From there I learned how to give first aid to a drowned person in the water. I learned it for my exam and never expected that someday It would be helpful to save a life. I am saying about the incident now.

It was approximately 12.00 p.m and we 5 cousins went to the pond for taking bath. Only two of five cousins were able to swim and others weren't capable to swim. Unfortunately one of my cousins slipped his leg and he went a little bit far from the pond's edge and we all heard his shouting. Two of us who know how to swim immediately tried to rescue him. But don't know why the weight of my cousin seemed so heavy that we need to struggle hard to rescue him. For that reason the rescue process took time and he became senseless and all of them were very afraid to see him senseless. Our minds became blank at that time and we were thinking about what to do. One cousin went to call our parents and somehow Almighty reminded me about the first aid treatment which I learned from the book. I never applied it anytime but It was the only thing I could do. I tried to remember the knowledge and tried my best. I don't know if I was perfect or not but It worked in the last stages when I blew in his mouth several times. He came back to his senses and It gave us so much relief that feeling can't be expressed in words. I think he was lucky because Almighty helped him through me and reminded me of the important lesson and It was the first time I have done it.
Another thing I noticed was that we all were afraid to see him senseless but we never thought that we might lose him forever. I don't know why? Maybe at that little age, we were unable to understand the danger properly.
