Deserving face of national Currency

At the end of 2023, we already entered a developed world and cryptocurrencies are used as a payment method but still, now most of us are highly dependent on physical currency. The reason is also quite simple and it's many governments haven't legalized cryptocurrency or we can say that governments are fearing to accept it.

So physical currency is mostly used in our daily life and it's still popular. In most of the physical national currencies, we can see someone's picture there. There exists a high possibility that the person in the picture has done something good for the country or done something impressive. I am saying it after seeing several currencies of different nations.

Designing the national currency is a matter of honor and very few people get the opportunity to do it. At the same time changing the design of national currency is a controversial thing. Some people support it and some people stay against it and I have noticed whenever a national currency changed in the past. It's quite natural but in the end, people need to accept the new design. So before making any change in national currency especially the character's picture I need to be concerned about many things because there are sentimental things.

If I have the capacity to decide whose face should be in the national currency then it must be Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He was the best leader in my nation and his leadership gave us many things that I am going to say about it. Obviously, it's history and if you don't like the, you can avoid reading from here.

Our country is the nation which achieved victory after 9 months of liberation war and many freedom fighters died in the war in 1971. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was the leader of our country and his leadership inspired our general people to raise their voices against injustice and for our rights. He was the only one whose voice was like an order for our country's people. The popularity he gained was for the love of our nation. The victory we achieved was because of his contribution and it might be impossible if a great leader like him wasn't here. Because of his contribution, he is also referred to as the " Father of the nation. "

After 9 months of bloody war, the condition of our country was very bad and a lot of struggles came on the way but as a leader, he was able to overcome everything with his intelligence, and it's not a matter of joke. According to my knowledge within a short time reconstruction and revolution after a war was very difficult.

He was the former of the current ruling party named "Awami League" although I think many things already changed there because it's not like now what it was in the past. Because of corruption and having the mentality of taking advantage, politicians are doing many illegal things and the reputation of it is decreasing.

Do you know that 21st February is the international mother language day? Do you know the history behind it? Our country is the only nation which needs to fight for the right to speak the mother language, Bengali. We are speaking Bengali because of those heroic sons who protested on 21st February 1952 for the language. Many people especially students died there. It's true that protest gave us the right to speak Bangla but we needed to pay the blood of our brothers. And Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was one of the active participants there.

Before the Independence and victory of our country sheikh mujibur Rahman was very active in every protest and movement related to our country.

Do you know Sheikh Mujibur Rahman spent approximately 12 years of his life behind prison because he was the threat to opponent? They tried to dominate Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by applying several kinds of tactics and tricks but failed to do it and were unable to kill him thinking about the consequences.

Till now, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is the best leader in our country and no leader were able to take the place of him. Sometimes I feel if he didn't die in a tragic incident now the situation in my country would be much much better.

If I start saying many things about that person then I can say many things. So I think Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's picture is the only character which I want to place in the national currency and fortunately, the picture of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman exists in our national currency.
