Laziness is part of human life and we all know this truth very well. In fact, we have realised it several times also.
Within a limit, laziness isn't a problem but after crossing the limit it's very harmful to us because it kills our valuable time. And we know it very well how much valuable time is for us.
I am explaining how we are wasting our valuable time just because of our laziness. I am giving an example of my friends approximately one month before the examination.

The name of my friend is Apurbo(A fake name). He was a good student and he was my classmate as well as my roommate also. For that reason, I was able to know almost everything about him as well as his emotions also.
Before he met me he used to be a good student. ( Hehe, don't think I have done anything with him. It was just his situation ) . But for some personal reason, he was frustrated and he became lazy.
So he didn't complete his lesson properly because he thought that he would be able to complete his lesson within the last one month before the exam and I think It was not impossible also if he determined to study properly. But the time arrived he delayed his plan each time. He became serious about his study when there were remaining 15 days and it was impossible to cover the full syllabus within a short time and after one week he became lazy again.
Now I am saying what you have done in the last 2 days before the exam.
On the second last day, he made a short note to read to make a moderately good result. In the morning time, he was going well with his plan. After taking lunch he went to sleep. ( Generally, he doesn't sleep after lunch. ) He started reading again in the evening time but after one hour he started to check newsfeed of Facebook and he was doing it again and again and most of the time he wasted reading the newsfeed and watching videos. So as expected, he wasn't able to finish his study as he planned. The next day he woke up late. That morning he read well and again he slept after lunch. But after the evening the plan changed from the previous day. He read well till 9.00 p.m and after that, he finished his dinner early and took a nap for 45 minutes. He planned to read all night. After waking up again he went for a walk outside for not to feel sleepy. He returned from outside approximately at 11.00 p.m. Again he started reading and read for a while. Again he felt sleepy and so he set alarm for 1.15 a.m. Each time he delayed his alarm until I went to sleep around 3.00 a.m. In the morning I asked about his preparation but he said he wasn't able to read anything in the nighttime and his preparation wasn't well. That means he didn't study in the evening time and at midnight time because of his laziness.
Luckily, somehow he was able to avoid a year drop in that exam. I was thinking about how a person can be so lazy and careless like him.
Here is a message. And it's we shouldn't cross the limit of laziness as it kills our valuable time. Indeed, we can't avoid laziness totally but we should control it otherwise it can bring bad consequences for us. So we should do those things which we want otherwise we may not do it at any time.
