Education should be the right, not the opportunity

Education is called the backbone of a nation. For the prosperity of a nation, it is highly dependent on education more specifically dependent on the education system because a good education system is very helpful for the faster development of a nation where a bad education system is not so helpful for the prosperity of the nation.

Nothing is perfect in this world and achieving perfection in any case is almost impossible. The education system is not different from it and there exists some loopholes and for the prosperity of a nation we need to fix it otherwise the true power of education cannot be achieved.

In my country, I think there are many loopholes in the education system. But if I have the opportunity to remove one thing from my education system then it will be the subject of history. And I am saying it considering the situation of our country.

It's true that knowledge of history is important for us and it gives us knowledge about past incidents and learn lessons from them. From our childhood, we need to read history books, and almost in every class, even in higher educational institutions, we need to read history. Except for politicians, I have never seen anyone who needs knowledge of history. I have seen very few students who are interested in history knowledge and they feel bored but they are forced to read history and gain knowledge. In our practical life, I have never seen any direct impact of history. In fact, I have seen many people try to fight against each other based on history knowledge which is unwanted. I feel that history should be the optional one and those who are interested in history will read about history and gain knowledge and nobody needs to force for it. Suppose I like to read science fiction and gain knowledge and for this reason, I don't need to depend on textual books and I am not forced to read it but I read for my own interest and in the case of history that should be the same otherwise it should be banned. There is no direct output of history knowledge and I think isolating it from the education system will be beneficial for students. I believe that forcefully gained knowledge is not so useful because students are not so interested in that kind of knowledge.

I have read several posts and most of them highlighted the practical-based education system rather than focusing on the theory-based education system. I also think the same and it's important also but I want to show light on another point.

Believe it or not, education has become one of the most profitable and risk-free businesses in the current time. And it's not only the situation in my country because in many countries it's also the same. So in the current time if anyone has the desire to continue their study they need to consider the money for education. The amount is so huge that many students can't continue their studies. In my case sometimes I also feel that if my parents invested the money which they spent for my education in some sectors then there is a high possibility that right now I would have a huge amount of money that I would not need to work. In fact, sometimes I feel if they had just kept the money for me till now without investing, I would feel very rich now and I could make a huge amount of money using that money. Many students feel regret for everything after completing graduation when they don't get a suitable job. It's like the investment in education everything went in vain. That is the reason I have seen many students leave the country stopping their education to go abroad for work.

So I want to make the education system free for all students. This is the thing which can make a student interested in a study and not to leave study in the middle. Remember that if a student receives a good education then he will be an asset to the country and he can make a contribution to the faster development of the country. I feel those people who think education is business will have no scope to think about it also.

My thought is very clear and that is " Education should be the right, not the opportunity ".
