Uncertain but promising future

Current students are the future of a nation and depending on them the future of a nation can be predicted. Education is needed to make them qualified enough to bear their responsibility. Education is the thing which gives knowledge and makes skillful people. That is the reason it is said that education is the backbone of a nation and the prosperity of a nation mostly depends on education.

In the current time, I am a student of Honors level (final year) of the fisheries department and fortunately, I got the opportunity to continue studying at one of the top universities in my country. My final year examination has already started and this year I will be graduating if everything goes well.

Till now I consider myself successful in the field of education because I think I almost achieved all the best results I wanted and till now my highest achievement is to do my study at one of the top universities in my country. Before the time of the pandemic, I planned to go abroad for my higher studies (Ph.D.) after completing my graduation. But the uncertainty of the pandemic made an impact on my family. My father returned from abroad, and financial pressure was created automatically. From my side, I am trying to support my family by doing tuitions but it's not enough.

Going abroad means a good amount of finance is needed as a backup. I believe if I tell my father strongly to go abroad for my education he may agree with it but my family will face a huge financial blow in this case. The future of my little brother and sister will be at stake. How can I make such a kind of selfish decision by risking the future of my brother and sister and my family? So I stopped thinking too much about it and accepted it as my fate. But life is unpredictable and who knows if the backup of the finances can be arranged. In that case, I may go abroad for higher studies. From a natural perspective it not going to happen and I don't want to daydream about it as I love to think practical.

It's the 7th year I am passing in my university. Naturally, 4 years are required to finish graduation but because of the lazy teachers of my department, I am losing 3 years of my career life. It is unfortunate and I am helpless in this case. Losing 3 years gives me the feeling of disappointment because of the loss I won't be able to recover anytime in my opinion but in the next moments, I handle myself with positive thoughts and think I will do better even after losing 3 years. There is no fault of myself and there is no benefit to getting disappointed and I think it's fate which I am unable to disobey. So thinking positively and strategically is the best way.

As I am going to graduate this year, I will try to find a job as early as possible and it's a very necessary task for me as I want to take the financial responsibility of my family. This is a thing which will take time because finding a job is not so easy. At the same time, I will continue my Master's degree and another research from my department. Master's degree may take 1/1.5 year to complete. After that, I will try to find a job related to my academic subject. In my country, the need of fisheries graduates are needed and only a few universities are creating fisheries graduates and fortunately, I am one of them. If I get that kind of job I will get a handsome salary. Moreover, I will get the opportunity to go abroad for my Ph.D. degree. Nothing is granted here and so I have a backup plan for it.

From the current time I already created a fund for Integrated fish farming. As I am going to be a fisheries graduate this year, I have a good knowledge of integrated fish farming. It's my backup plan and I will be an entrepreneur in this case and I am confident that I will succeed in this case and if more funds can be arranged I will for the hatchery business. So I will stay stick with my academic subject in which I am an expert. Instead of it, I have some other plans which it not related to my education and I will discuss them some other day.
