I hope everyone is in good shape and has eaten something this evening😊. Processed or natural, you have to eat something. Participating in this week's edition is a little about what food does, what I will prefer if given the opportunity to make choice, is it natural or processed?
Food.
Food is anything that we consume to sustain life. Food has to be taken to keep us going. It is vital for health and wellness, food enhances growth and development . Different types of food constitutes the classes of food according to nutritionists.
Food if not eaten accordingly can cause harm to the body, this is the same food that nourishes the body, but can still help to cause some diseases that most people are suffering from today. Most of us attribute blames to processed foods and see it as the major contribution to the problems faced from food.
What differentiates natural food from the processed food is the ingredients and the storage involved in the food.
What makes food natural?
It is said that if any food does not involve any artificial ingredient it is natural, this natural food mostly involve fruits, e.g of this fruits are banana, mangos, oranges and others. Most people are not exposed to environment that encourages getting or eating these fruits natural neither can they preserve it. Technology has seen into the issue and helped to ease the stress of going to find it natural, technology has brought about the processed food all with intentions to ease the stress of looking for natural foods.

Just this evening i was able to make a roasted corn for consumption, the secret behind roasting it when it is still fresh( I.e it is just harvested) is that the taste can't be compared to two to three days after harvesting. This is how interesting natural food is but if this maize is preserved the sweet taste reduces.
Processed foods.
When it is said to be processed, artificial ingredients have been added and other storage measures has been put in place. Processed foods has been observed to be the cause of most of the coronary diseases such as hypertension which has in high proportion caused death.
It is not the food being processed that is the major issue, but the way it is consumed, based on consumption natural foods can be of negative effect to the body.
If given the two options I will go for the natural food because I am more familiar with natural foods, I am mindful of what my digestive system tells me😂😂
