Hello everyone!
I trust everyone is fine. The hidden qualities hive reveals every day make me happy to be a part of this intriguing block chain. Thanks to for creating this initiative, and also to every hiver who spends time seeing that this initiative is a success. I wouldn't fail to appreciate
for the refining lecture, I really got a lot from the lecture. It is refining because these are the little things hivers ignore that may have been a hindrance to those whose accounts are being down-voted by hivewatchers and on the long run, the account and to others suffering other penalties it comes with unknowingly. To keep growing, we have to keep learning. The materials are really helpful. Thank you for taking the time to look for the materials.
Participating in this task, i will be sharing what I learned through the questions asked.
My experience on hive since I joined.
Crypto currency is getting more sweet as I keep engaging on hive. At first, I never had any knowledge of what cryptocurrency was, even when most of the people around me had several conversations about cryptocurrency. Let me just say, I wasn't interested, so I didn't just give a listening ear, not until I heard of hive block chain, where you write and get paid. I was lucky enough to have an account and started the business of writing. This is where the experience became more interesting, as I got to learn more about how to write content. How to make use of punctuation and the use of tenses.
Aside schooling and farming, I needed something supplementary, I started engaging more on hive. As a newbie, the rewards weren't as expected, but I kept on engaging, seeing other benefits on hive. My engagements in communities has been worthwhile, the likes of #leofinance community, #hagro and others. Hive has made me understand the revolution crypto has brought, this is why I will keep engaging.
Plagiarism a no-no on hive.
Plagiarism as discussed on the meeting is a very big offense on hive. In simple terms, plagiarism is copying another person work. Here it deals with you saying this content is mine where it is not yours, more like stealing someone's property. In stealing, there is always a penalty when caught, same thing applicable to hive block chain. When being caught by hive watchers the penalty here is always a downvote and in communities being muted is the penalty.
Answering the question asked about plagiarism, it is because when an author plagiarize, he is not the original author of the content that is why it is frowned upon.
The use of tags.
I believe the mistakes we newbies make commonly on hive is the use tags. As little as it may look, it has great influence on every content we create, that is why it is important to know what tags are all about.
In two dimensions, that tags can serve it's importance. Which are:
- Visibility and
- Tribe tokens.
With the use of tags, every content created is open to different communities that makes use of the tag mentioned. On this note, tags are important if mentioned properly to create more followers and views.
Some communities own different tribe tokens and an author can only benefit when he/she uses the community tag.
List of general tags as difference between them.
There are just a few general tags I know on hive, which are:
- neoxian
- proofofbrain
- cent
The major difference in these tags are related to communities that own the tokens that supports the usage of their tags in every content created.
Thank you for reading!
