Parenting is one of the most demanding and tasking jobs in the world, especially in this current state of the world. As a parent, it is not enough to just provide for your family and ensure they lack nothing. You must also ensure that your children are immune to the menace of society. This may take a lot of effort, including prayers, training, and investment in knowledge. Based on my experiences, there are certain things that I will not allow for my kids.
Firstly, I will not allow my children to be exposed to a poor environment. I believe that the environment plays a crucial role in shaping a child's development. I will ensure my children grow up in a clean, safe, and nurturing environment. This means that I will invest in a good home, quality education, and a healthy lifestyle. I will also teach my children the importance of environmental sustainability and encourage them to be responsible citizens who care about their surroundings.
I will not allow my children to lack knowledge. I believe that education is the key to success, and I will do everything in my power to ensure that my children receive a quality education. This means that I will invest in good schools, tutors, and extracurricular activities that will help my children to develop their skills and interests. I will also teach my children the value of lifelong learning and encourage them to seek knowledge from various sources.
Thirdly, I will not allow my children to be exposed to negative influences. The world can be a dangerous place, and there are many negative influences that can harm a child's development. Therefore, I will take steps to ensure that my children are protected from harmful influences such as drugs, alcohol, violence, and pornography. I will also teach my children the importance of making good choices and standing up for what is right.
Fourthly, I will not allow my children to lack empathy and compassion. In a world that is becoming increasingly selfish and individualistic, it is essential to teach children the value of empathy and compassion. I will teach my children to care for others, to help those in need, and to be kind and respectful to everyone they meet. I will also encourage my children to develop a sense of social responsibility and to give back to their community.
I will also not allow my children to lack faith and spirituality. I believe that faith and spirituality play a significant role in shaping a person's values and beliefs. Therefore, I will teach my children the importance of faith in Jesus and spirituality and encourage them to develop. I will also teach my children to respect the beliefs and practices of others and to live in harmony with people of different faiths.
I also hope they don't chose to be Doctors because I'm one, I ll love them to explore their opportunities to the fullest and make a living from their passion.
