Hello friends, how are you all ? I hope you are well.Today i want to share that is Empididae.
I see it as I walk through the fields this afternoon, and I don't take pictures, and that's what I'm sharing.
Empididae are small to medium sized flies,
rarely large. The body is slender, or elongated and rarely thick.
Colors range from yellow to black.Often rounded with small and relatively large eyes.
Some species have small mouth parts
The legs are usually long and slender but often strong and in some cases, the front legs are raptorial, adapted to catch and hold prey.
Adult ampedides are found in various forest habitats, on tree leaves, in tree trunks, in aquatic plants and stream beds, and in pond habitats. Some species are associated with open spaces such as grasslands, farms, wetlands, coastal areas, and beaches.
I picked it up, with a camera lens with the Symphony Z28 mobile.
Thanks All.
