Yesterday at my new residence, I had an amazing experience with my neighbors kids and thought it wise to share here.
You are not alone even when it feels like no one is listening.
Yesterday, I was trying to take a short nap when two little kids in my compound came behind my window and started playing roughly.
They were shouting, jumping, making so much noise.
I called out, “Please, you two should leave here and go somewhere else to play.”
They heard me, laughed, ran off and then came back to continue.
I was getting irritated, but I held myself.
I didn’t want to lose my temper.
I shouted again.
But the elder one was very mischievous. He came back with the second boy and continued with the noisy play.
At this point, I just gave up and tried to sleep, already thinking I would come out later to chase them properly.
But before I could even act on that thought, a neighbour came out, angry and started scolding and flogging them.
“Don’t you hear word? How many times will you be warned? Leave here!”
I was surprised.
I wasn't aware that she was around.
How did she even know I needed help?
In that moment, I remembered a verse in Psalms 91:11, that says God will give His angels charge over you.
That was when it hit me.
..... I was not alone and God could use angels or a neighbor to remind me of that.
Today I want to share this with you, and get you all reminded that you're not alone, God is definitely on your side and won't leave you alone for any reason.
You are not alone.
There is a help that surrounds you even when you don’t call out loud.
Sometimes, before you even finish thinking it, God has already arranged the answer.
Believe that before you ask, God will answer.
So move today with that confidence.
Walk in that awareness.
God is for you.
God is mindful of you.
God's love surrounds you.
And if God is for you, no situation can truly stand against you.
