It's very true that information is the life wire of everything. I was actually sharing with my students a personal experience and thought 🤔 about getting an international passport 🛂 with low cost and less crowd.
So am asking How can Get Your International Passport Faster.?
If you really want things to move faster, go and apply for your international passport in a quieter state not everywhere has the same crowd.
There was a time I had very little… but I made sure the little I had worked for me.
During my NYSC in Jos plateau state , I had to manage my allowee.
I was very intentional because I knew where I was going.
My mum had already done so much pushing me through university, so I told myself I have to do my part.
Studying abroad wasn’t just a wish for me, it was a goal.
One of the smartest things I did back then was getting my international passport early.
I processed mine in Jos, Plateau State, and I paid just ₦25,000 the exact official fee. That's Nigerian naira.
No extra charges, no shortcuts. I simply followed the right process and waited patiently.
Luckily for me, the system was less crowded, and things moved smoothly.
That’s one thing many people overlook.
Your international passport is not something you should wait to get when you’re “ready to travel.” It is one of the most important documents you need if your dreams are beyond your current location.
If you are currently serving (NYSC), this is your advantage:
Avoid overly crowded states like Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, or even Akwa Ibom where the demand is high. If you’re in a quieter state, use that opportunity. Go to the Federal Secretariat, locate the immigration office, and begin your process now.
Don’t wait until urgency forces you into paying unnecessary money.
Start preparing before the opportunity comes
