I hate Test which is never announce to Students neither do the lecturers give the content areas. So I was praying never to meet such Test. This is because it makes me frightening and I'm not a type that could withstand pressure. So I didn't meet such kind of test not untill I was pursuing my Degree programs. We have some Test know as "Teacher Made Test (TMT)."
This is was the kind of test use to monitor or check absenteeism. As we are all aware mature students aren't controlled as basic students. Sometimes as mature students, we used to misbehave while Lecturers can't do anything. Attending lecturers become option but not compulsion for students. Due to this, Teacher Made Test (TMT) was introduced to caught students who pretend to miss lectures. The nature of the this test was to conduct without the consent of the students and the content where the Test would be based on is never announced. The Test too is being recorded to form part of the our continuous assessment.

Who would like to miss TMT
It would be your own cup of Coffee to miss TMT Lol 😂! Even though TMT isn't part of the main exams. But, failure to take part is tantamount to your failure. Since it isn't announced to the class, I wouldn't want to miss my lecturers, because I wouldn't know it would be my unlucky day. One of the annoying side of this TMT was the "fill in answers". For this kind of question ❓, you need to read thoroughly every word and every sentence should be considered vital. It was very difficult for me to guess the kind of answers.
This stress of TMT made me regret of attending that University. I wondered if all University used similar system to check students. Then no students would have been failed.
The Test Score was only 20 marks due to the nature of the "fill in questions". Hardly would I score even 10 out of 20 marks. Since my level 100 to 400, but best score was 15 marks out of 20 marks. It was rather difficult to ask some for help. Even the friend that you would be ask, he was even struggling to get his or her pass mark.
Even though I saw it as punishment and stressful but it helped me to learn very hard when I wasn't ready to do so. I fear being failed if I miss TMT, so there wasn't any option than to strive and learn. What the institution did was also to monitor if students really read their books, that was why the use the text construction method of "fill in questions."
I am even tired of furthering my education due to this TMT Test form. But I don't think I would experience the same TMT when I'm to pursue my Masters Degree. For sure, this kind of Testing students has really equiped me so much. But, I don't want to use the same method on my students. I prefer optional questions and multiple choice questions that would I allow students to choose.
