Leadership is something that changes some people because power itself changes people's behaviour when the come to power. Meanwhile when it comes to power and leadership's it comes with so many things , that is when you will see the true colour of an individual. Well there is a proverb that says when the righteous are in authority the people rejoice . Good leadership brings about joy and happiness in the people's mind which also should be a pride of a leader that his citizens are living well and also proud of him.
Nigeria has also been a country that have one or two challenges since the past according history it did not start now, though it is like that in all the countries but one thing is sure and what is this one thing? The thing is that whether the situation of a country is good or bad , when there is a good president it changes a lot of things reason because when a good president enters many things will be done right and it will bring a lot of good things than bad. But though no matter how good a president is there will also be bad things because of some corrupt people or due to it's opponents / opposition ,but surely it will be at a minimal level . During those days of childhood,I don't know much but entering into adulthood with the things i was hearing, things i heard and the things i know i really prefer the time of goodluck Jonathan who was the Nigerian president , he was the successor of late president umaru Musa yaradua in 2010 before the second tenor of president Mohammad buhari who succeeded him. It is true that things where a little bit high during his time but i prefer his regime those days than this present time . One example of his good leadership then was the price of petrol which was at a good price then , during his time fuel was sold at a price of #65 , though it later increased to #97 but it was at a good price then compare to what we are seeing now despite the fuel subsidy that was removed . still at that, fuel is still at a high price.
I really like that regime of president good luck Jonathan because many things were really going well apart from the already mentioned petrol there were many other things that was going well than now , even the issue of insecurity was not at the high side as it is now like i said before many were good than now . The president who was later made a peace ambassador was really a good man he showed his people what it means to be a good leader. GOOD LEADERSHIP IS THE KEY . LEADERS LEAD BY EXAMPLE PLEASE AND ALLOW CORRUPTION TO REST WE THE CITIZENS HAVE SUFFERED ALOT.
