FIRST THE INDUSTRIES
In an area like mine WARRI we have a very Big pollutant THE REFINERY this is the first factor I'll talk about which we can call "INDUSTRIAL POLLUTION" many people knows us a the oil city, despite the fact that we barely even test the sweetness of the so called oil. At a time some time, we have the refinery running on a constant basis and with the High outpour of carbon monoxide, it made life a bit difficult for some persons. I remember back then when production was still ongoing,,, whenever it rains you see particles of these carbon falling on clothes and even the buckets outside in which we use In collecting rain water will be as dark as charcoal. It's always been like this for so Long, it only reduced when refinery stopped producing fuel. But whenever it rains, the first rain that comes is always dirty till the second or even third fall before we see normal water
NOISE POLLUTION
When I visited Abuja for the first time it seemed like a cool and peaceful night, I don't know if it's the area I stayed but all through the first to the last night I was there, I did not hear a single sound of generator but I could feel the beauty of it's night life. When I returned to my home base (DELTA) it all started like never before. We barely have light and the noise from these generators at times is very alarming. Our markets are the worst (WITH GRINDING MACHINE AROUND SOME OF THE MARKET AREA, OHH GOODNESS) we have come to accept living with it. But whenever I travel out of my State and see The difference it always annoys me
HUMANS AS POLLUTANT

In Nigeria, we think we must be loud for us to be sold,,, this has driven the mindset of Nigerians crazy. You see someone will just go to the market just to purchase loud speakers to disturb the easy beat of people's heart all in the name of trying to sell one product that is not worth giving a try. And aside that we don't have volume control on our music and sound system both at home and worship centers, all we want is to be heard without thinking of the dangers behind this appliances usage
CONTROL MEASURES
In as much as others have taken this control measure and it worked for them, we too can apply it. Nothing is impossible. 1st _ REFINERIES SHOULD BE FAR FROM RESIDENTIAL AREAS This can help prevent Air and water pollution to an extent. 2nd _ GENERATORS SHOULD BE PROPERLY SERVICED This will be the first measure to reduce noice around us 3rd _ SOUND PROOF SYSTEM IN EVENT CENTERS AND WORSHIP CENTERS AND PROPER AD - METHOD SHOULD BE ON RADIO AND TELEVISION and we should not forget violaters 4th _ THOSE WHO WOULD BREAK THESE RULES SHOULD PAY COSTLY, EVEN UP TO THE AMOUNT THAT WILL COVER FOR THE HUMAN DISTRESS
