School life which I'm currently on the verge of finally leaving has been a journey full of different experiences, the good the bad, and the ugly. However, in this post, I will be talking about some good experiences that brought me to the light in school. I've become very popular at this point in my life, both among students and lecturers, and one of the things that made me popular is my performances during impromptu tests, not that I like them, but I always find my way around them.
I don't like failing, and I don't like cheating to pass a test or exam, as a matter of fact, I will rather fail a course than cheat in it. This is why I always try to be prepared, I guess right now I'm speaking like one nerd who reads regularly, but surprisingly, I don't like reading my books either, I only read when exams are approaching, and even in times when I don't read for a course, I still find a way to write something reasonable enough for me to pass. This isn't because I'm a genius or know everything, it's just how I'm built.
I always try to attend classes, and I will say I have a very good retentive memory. Every time I'm faced with an impromptu test, I try to picture scenarios that happened on the day the lecturer taught the course, and just like that, I remember a good amount of the answers to the questions asked. Majority of lecturers that have taught me through my years in school like to set their impromptu test from things they said in class so that only students who attended the class could have the advantage.

Although there were times when the lectures set questions from topics never mentioned before, those are the times when I do deep thinking and try to relate similar topics from different courses. I don't like Impromptu test because it always leaves me with a bad headache after doing a lot of thinking and writing the little I can which has always brought me to the center of attraction.
I remember the one time during my third year that I didn't know jack at the beginning of the impromptu test, It was the first time I did a computer programming course, FORTRAN to be precise when my coursemates looked at me expecting my normal I got it covered face, or chill I'm thinking face, It was the first time I surprisingly gave the I don't know jack face because it was a course nobody understood even in class. The lecturer at one point decided to turn it into an open book test after noticing nobody knew what to write, but yet the questions were too complex that even if we looked into the internet we didn't know what we were even looking for.
It was a simple question that warrants us to write GOD IS GOOD 10 times following the syntax of FORTRAN. When it was 10 minutes to go for the test to be over, I frustratingly decided to stop looking at books because I wasn't finding anything, and just thought to myself when I remembered one of the classes where the lecturer was talking about writing I AM A BOY 100 times. I just wrote what I could remember from how it was scattered in my head, and surprisingly I got 15/30 which was the only awarded mark In the department. The lecturer said I was the only one who remembered the syntax although I skipped some parts of the code, and didn't finish it, so he gave me 15 to encourage me. It wasn't easy convincing my coursemates that I didn't know what to write, so I let them think what they liked to think. I hate to fail, so I try to think.
