It's been a really hectic week for me again, but I'm glad I'm able to enter Task 6 of the newbies initiative. Today I will be talking about the gaming world, I love playing games when I'm less busy, Mobile games mostly, but my current device situation has made me stop for the time being. However, I will be talking specifically about the following in this post...
BLOCKCHAIN GAMES
HIVE GAMES
NFTs
MY EXPERIENCE PLAYING THE RISING STAR GAME.
With no further or do, let me jump right into the business of the day
BLOCKCHAIN GAMES
When we talk about Blockchain games, we talk about games in the crypto space. These games are quite different from the normal candy crush, temple run, or any other game we are used to. But two major difference between Blockchain games and normal games is that in Blockchain games you can earn crypto and NFTs, and you can trade them. Unlike normal games where the coins you earn are only used for purchasing game assets, the coins you earn in Blockchain games can be converted to cash in real life when you trade them.
HIVE GAMES
Since hive is also Blockchain, the games played here are Blockchain games meaning playing games on hive is another way of earning in the hive Blockchain. Below is a list of some games you can play on the hive Blockchain and earn from them as well.
| HIVE GAMES | IN-GAME CURRENCY |
|---|---|
| RISING STAR GAME | STARBITS |
| SPLINTER LANDS GAMES | DARK ENERGY CRYSTAL (DEC) |
| THE WOO GAMES | WOO TOKENS |
| STARDOM | STARDOM |
NFTs
As I said earlier, you can also earn NFTs (NON-FUNGIBLE TOKENS) which are also tradable if the owner decides to trade. Think of NFTs as assets like houses, lands, etc... In Blockchain games, they are digital assets that can appear in music, art, etc which like physical assets are very tradable and have a very high market value. one thing about NFTs is that not everyone can access them making them kinda rare because they are limited in quantity. Owning an NFT is simply having the full ownership right of that asset, and once you do, you can do whatever you wish to do with it, interesting right...
MY EXPERIENCE PLAYING THE RISING STAR GAME
Attempting to play the rising star game was really difficult for me, the game would log me out anytime I try to get my mobile link, or even play the game itself, I wasn't able to figure out why it was so but as you can see on the screenshot below after It takes me back to the login page each time I try to advance from agreeing to terms and conditions.
I feel it's probably not compatible with my phone, and I didn't even try out any other game because I had tried out the Splinterlands game in the past and experienced similar results.
This is all about my experience playing games on Hive, I hope to try them again when I get a new device.
This is my entry into the newbies initiative program task 6, from team one under the leadership of , thanks for stopping by my blog today until next time.
