Just like we know, a stingy person is one who doesn't give out no matter what, even if he has in abundance. This person sometimes considers the few closest people around him and gives a deaf ear to others. While. A greedy person is someone who keeps collecting, pouring water into a filled cup.
These traits are often seen in people within us and also in us(yes you & I🙄), depending on the situation. Yes, I've been called stingy, but I'm very far from greedy. Read on....*
Stingy person
To be honest, I used to know a lot of stingy people when I was a teenager, but when I came of age, I saw life in a different way and retraced my way of observing people.
Way back when a rich uncle refuses to give, we quickly tag him as "stingy uncle" not knowing that it was possible that he was experiencing a financial crisis at the time.
For now, I no longer see people as stingy; do you know why? It's difficult to give out in this economy, be it money or otherwise; life is really hard and people are passing through a lot. Sometimes we don't know who's passing through difficult problems because we all have smiles on our faces.

You know the Yahoo guys (internet fraudsters)? I have a lot of them as friends, both the clean ones and the ones using voodoo. There was a day I was in need of financial help, and I had to reach out to one. He said a lot of things, bla bla bla, but didn't give it. I knew he had the money because he always uploads his merry moments on social media. But I didn't think it through because I know he went through a lot to get the money, be it genuine or crooked, and it's hard for them to give it out to people who don't want to be like them.
Greedy person
I've seen a lot in this category on different occasions.
This thing irritates me so much that I move away from such a person.
There was a time I and four others had a business, and when it was time to share money, some of them came out with a percentage share, which was a little bit normal, but everything went off when the differences were bigger than imagine. I'm not a saint, but I like fairness.
Recently, I was to buy a particular cryptocurrency from a friend of mine, and I added a little gain to it in order not to lose money in the trade. The guy became shocked at how serious I was about the gain, even though it was very small. Although he was begging to sell at a rate favorable to him,
"It's funny the way you're adding this insignificant amount to this price just for gain. When we had a bigger business, you shared it equally, even when you were to take a bigger portion as the leader of the group," he said.
Those words melted my heart🤩.
I'm stingy
I love it when I'm called stingy; yeah, I love it to the core because I don't give a damn to what people think.
I've been called stingy because I refuse to give, and they don't know how I'm struggling financially.
I've tried to change my lifestyle to be less social online, but it's not working for me. It's not that I flaunt things online, but I get billed at any single bonding. This is one of the main reasons I stopped being chatty on Facebook.
"If these billings are exams for you to know whether I'm stingy or not, I will boldly fail them." I once replied a lady with this when she was trying to open Access Bank on my head. I'm sure she tagged me as stingy from then on.
