My plan today (Sunday) was basically to go to church, return home, and sleep like never before — and it worked out.
Church was fine and a bit tiring too. There was a lot of work for us as ushers because people came in large numbers, and towards the last phase of the church service (second service), most of us were weakened because of the workload. I drank a lot of water and also had a bottle of soft drink to gain some strength, especially because there was hunger too. Lol.
One of our biggest church events is coming up next week and preparations have been on ground towards the D-day. The event is going to take a lot from us and I'm ready for it as well.
Church ended, I got home, had my breakfast at lunchtime, and I jumped into my bed, put on the fan, and slept off. The weather was very hot and burning, but with the help of the fan, I had a sweatless sleep. When I woke up, I felt my body so relieved and simple. I wish I had time like this to be taking naps every day.
After the sleep, I had my bath and headed to the football arena to watch the Premier League match between Chelsea and Arsenal. A very contested match it was. It ended in a 1–1 draw, and Chelsea was very much okay with that because Arsenal had the upper hand to win the match.
