UNDESERVED LOVE

Aside from family love, I've been showered massive love by outsiders; people that we are not biologically related.
Amongst many occasions of receiving gifts, the one that has surprised me the most is how I've been receive clothes as gift. There was a period in my life that all my clothes were gifts and I felt like I was being over pampered by these people because I didn't do anything to deserve such.
Till today, I still receive clothes as gift from people I never expected. Let me share some of the scenarios.
From The CEO
I once worked as a cashier in an eatery and I was very committed because I worked under someone that knows me very well. It's a delecate position in the company so I made sure I put in my best and at the end, everyone testified of that.
The owner(CEO) of the eatery lives in the state Capital and visits on weekends and whenever he visits, he spends the full weekend and fellowships in same church with us.
In one of the weekends he visited and worshipped with us in the church, I was stubborn that Sunday by not putting on tie to church...as an usher. I didn't just feel like putting on tie that day and I was queried by our Unit leader.
The following weekend, this man(CEO) bought a Navy blue plain trouser, a pink long sleeve shirt and a black now tie. He jokingly said he didn't liked the way I appeared in church last Sunday without a tieπ.
I was wowed!
I pondered on the kind gesture and I was like, "if he thinks that the reason I didn't wear a tie that day was because I had no tie, he lied cos I have up to 12 ties, both long and now".
I knew it wasn't because of tie that made him to buy me that, because he's been seeing me with different ties. He just decided to extend his the hands of love to meπ₯°.
Most interestingly, we were up to 11 staffs and I was the only one he chose to gift. I don't know whether others felt jealous...they were all femaleπ
Another unexpected gift
It was a Sunday and I was in church already, officiating on my duty post as an usher while I saw this man(my boss) walked up to my position and dropped a nylon on my seat. I had no idea on idea on what he dropped and I couldn't leave my duty post to go and check it out.
When I finished my duty and got to my seat, I opened the parcel and I was surprised to see a very nice container of perfume.
He left before service, so I couldn't meet him to know what's up. I called him immediately after service and he said I should "manage that"π₯°.
The way this man treats me with gifts makes me to wonder because we are not biologically related but he tskes me as a younger brother.
With the way I've received gifts from people, I've taken the footsteps to be giving out too...once in a while I look for someone to dash either a clothe or a shoe.
