I have a lot of adventures on my wishlist, and I'm fully hoping that I'll experience them in the years to come. These adventures are things that look simple to the rich, but because I'm not financially buoyant enough to foot the bills, I find them undoable for the moment, and I might also need some training to go about them.
Nevertheless, if I'm opportuned to experience these adventures on the platform of free expenses, then I would hop into my greatest desire among them, which is skydriving.
This is one adventure I've been dreaming of experiencing...
Unfortunately, I haven't seen where it's done in real life; I've only seen it in movies, even in our local movies in my country, and each time I come across such, deep imagination takes over my thoughts. I wish I'm the one.
Wondering what's skydriving?
First of all, this is not paragliding that deals with flying from a mountain or a two-story building, no.
Skydiving It's a sport where the participant jumps from a very high altitude (usually an aeroplane) and flies in the air for a while before releasing the parachute. This is very common in Hollywood movies, whereby soldiers jump off an aeroplane or helicopter and land swiftly on the ground or in water via the parachute. You've seen that, right?
I consider this as flying in the air, just like the birds, where they have the whole of the air to themselves...a world without limit
Skydiving is the closest humans can get to the feeling of flying like a bird. It is a fun, safe way to experience flight in a very sweet way. I consider it most interesting to that of being in the aeroplane, with skydiving, I'll have to feel every bit of it.
In physics, we were told that there's a place in the air where the force of gravity has no effect on objects. Yeah, I want to experience that effect.
It's more like a mini aeroplane flying because, with the parachute, directions are controlled and you can also use it to make a long journey, provided the air is spacious and not obstructed by towers and masts.
With skydiving, I will have to see my city view, relax there, not be in a hurry, with my camera to capture a lot of beautiful scenes.
I've heard stories whereby people who were to celebrate birthdays were asked to pick any outing as a birthday surprise, and they picked paragliding. They made it happen for them. How wonderful!
I've also heard of a story of someone whose days on earth were numbered and only wished to go for skydiving before the say he does. You see how valued this game is?
I don't know what my health reaction would be to this because I suffer from motion sickness a lot, but I don't mind giving it a try.
What do I hope to achieve?
Nothing much; it's just a way of satisfying myself with my long-time wishes, and skydiving is one of them.
Thanks for reading🙌
