Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 190, Edition 03 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the third topic for this week, which is “BEHAVIOURS”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “MY DEAR COUNTRY”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us about their country and the things they were known for. We got to see the good things and also the bad things. Many times, there are stereotypes that are profoundly false, other times, while there is a measure of truth in them, they also get grossly over exaggerated.
But then, the things people think of our country will definitely affect the way they relate with it, and we saw the need for every country having a positive image to the rest of the world, because the opposite will simply come with more consequences. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w190e2; tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors, will be listed below.

BETWEEN SAMBA AND SCHOOL DESKS: A LOOK AT BRAZIL’S CONTRADICTIONS by
This author told us about how football is a national passion for Brazillians, and there’s a level of obsession that comes with the sport, bothering on unhealthy. And then, there’s the educational system that’s also in need of investments and also in-depth restructuring to be able to cater to the needs of both the students and the teachers who take care of them.
For this author, he talked about how one of the good things people always talked about when it came to Nigeria was the Pidgin English, looking at how many foreigners wanted to learn it. And then, with the way it’s diverse, it gives so much to learn. However, sadly, the country also boasts of gross levels of corruption and fraud, which has impacted the citizens in a big way.
For this author, he talked about how his country is known for its hospitality, and the joy and happiness they use to deal with family, and also take on challenges and problems. Because as long as there is life, there will always be hope. Sadly, corruption is also a major thing that the country is known for, causing growth to stagnate and the people to suffer.
All of the above contents were supported by our official curation account lazy-panda with an extra amount. The first 3 authors will receive 100 ECENCY Points [ Sponsored By Ecency Team (

Week 190 - Edition 03 Topic
“Are behaviors learned or inherited? Do kids who grow up to become good adults learn it, or is it simply in their genes? Do you have an example of a child who turned out badly despite having great parents? Or the ones who had bad parents but went on to become good adults? What factors determine the kind of adults a child would grow up to be?”
