Weekly Featured Contents || Week 02 -Edition 02 || “A TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE CEREMONY”

Hello everyone, how are you doing today? This is going to be the Week 02, Edition 02 of our Weekly Featured Content.

This is a program that we intend to last for as long as we can take it. It is designed to foster participation and a feeling of belonging both in the chain and in the Discord server. On the chat hangout (that holds every Saturday) we will bring out a list of five topics to the house, and members will vote on their favorite topics. The three topics with the highest votes will be selected for that week and the entire community will make posts on them until the next chat hangout.

So, last week Saturday we had the last hangout that was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are on our first topic for the week which is “A TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE CEREMONY”.

This topic was geared towards each member of the community telling us about how marriages are being conducted in their various tribes. We got to see detailed processes and rites that were carried out so the couple would live happily ever after. We have to say it was refreshing to read, knowing the good people we are blessed to have in this community and we did not want it to end.

We went through every entry post, every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w2e2 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also their level of engagement with other authors will be listed below:

In each culture, there are beliefs (taboo/superstitions etc) that have been passed down through generations, in this era you probably find it difficult to relate to them. But they are still being practiced. Tell us about it, and if you feel it should be abolished.

3. Must share participation post's link in #featured-post-promotion channel in our discord server.
4. Members must interact & engage in each other's participation posts.
