Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 94, Edition 02 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on our second topic for this week which is “HOLIDAY TRADITIONS MISUNDERSTOOD”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “JUST ONE THING”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling about at least one thing that they have done during the holiday and how it affected their holiday plans in general. Seeing as many of us had plans to really enjoy the season, we needed to see how far we had come in bringing that plan to life.
We got to see just how committed many of us were to sticking to our plans and also how the day turned out when we did exactly what we wanted. Of course, things didn’t go as planned for many of us. But we didn’t allow that to take the joy of the season away from us. It was an interesting topic, indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w94e1 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. AN EXTRAORDINARY CONNECTION WITH MY FAMILY by
This author shared with us the time she spent with her family during Christmas Day. It was a great time with her husband and kids and they shared the joys of the season together. From reaching out to other family members to dancing competitions and eating various delicacies. It is not difficult to see why it was such an enjoyable day for them.
THE BEST PART OF THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON by
This author told us that he really enjoyed spending the Christmas Day with his family. There was a bit of Christmas shopping where he got gifts for his family, and they also bought a beautiful tree as well. And then, a delicious meal was served. Also, a heartwarming time in the church as well. What made it all worth while, was the fact that he spent every moment of it with his family.
MY EXPERIENCE DURING THE KID’S HOLIDAY
This author told us that not being a Christian didn’t stop them from taking part in the joys of the season. With the kids being on holiday, it’s the perfect time to spend with the family and make lasting memories before the new year. And so far, it’s going so great which makes it all the more beautiful.
