Music is one of the biggest entertainment industries, including video games, online streams … even movie is not one bit excluded. I’m a lover of movies.. all genres.. ranging from action, comedy, horror, drama.. anything movie basically be it series, anime, or animated movie.
I have watched tons of movies with a soundtrack, especially the Animated ones.. let’s take Disney for example you can’t watch a movie from Disney without more than one soundtrack.
When I saw today’s contest.. I had to take some time to think about it, not that I can’t find one but I just couldn’t choose. Finally, I decided to share my first known soundtrack and it is one of my favorites.. “Opportunity” soundtrack from the movie “Annie” has been long but I can remember it quite well.
Annie was my favorite movie and I watched it more than 3 times but I have watched a lot of movies since then and I would still list it has been one of my favorite movies now.
Summary of the plot
Annie was a young girl who lives in foster care, she has hope that her parents would someday come for her, on the other hand.., there was a man; Will who was running for mayor, he accidentally almost run into her while she was trying to save a dog.
The man saw this as an opportunity to use to campaign and build votes, he took the girl in and cared for her, and planned to take her in temporarily. Annie's relationship with Will got stronger as time passed.
Annie was invited to an event, and she was given a speech to read but she couldn’t read, so she sang instead. She usually sings while she was in the foster home, in fact, she loves singing. The song she sang was “opportunity” written by Sia.

Barely looking at these lyrics, you can tell why I am in love with it. I could remember vividly, she was putting on a red dress I love the fact that it was so emotional in that scene. “My big opportunity, I wouldn’t waste it. I guarantee”.
I love it because it was emotional in the scene. There are many soundtracks in Annie, it is a musical movie, I’ll say. Annie was given an opportunity but she wouldn’t express herself in words, she expressed herself in songs saying how she felt about the opportunity.
I just feel like finishing the summary
Annie has helped Will boost his popularity since Will thought it was going to be temporary.. his assistant or so I can’t recall decided that if he could find her parent Will will be relieved of her.
His assistant faked Annie’s parents, he forged Annie’s necklace which her parent gave her. She believed that that was a parent. So, the fake parents were taking her away. When Will found out that they were not her parent, he sent the police and all to stop the car.
Meanwhile, Annie already noticed that it was not her parent but she couldn’t get help. She felt like she has been used. Finally, the police found them and Will apologized to Annie, Annie was sincerely hurt, and to prove his love for Annie he withdrew from the mayor race.
I watched this around 2014 and it was Annie 2014, I learned that they had been another Annie which was in 1982 or so.
