Shopping can be tricky, This minute you want to order something online, the next minute you just want to shop it yourself (physically). Personally, I think I am more of a physical shopping type.
The only time I get to order something online is if the item I am ordering is rare to find. They are things that are hard to find or maybe they are out of fashion and most stores don’t longer have them like that.
In some other cases, maybe I saw something that was so beautiful or nice. When I say ‘so beautiful’, I mean ‘sooooooooooo beautifullll’ that I can’t resist but to order or perhaps I need it urgently and I know the delivery won’t take more than 24hours.
I think the main reason why I shop physically, it is because I am more like a business person.. and my mom, she usually to the market like big market to get stuffs, so any time I need to get something I just go to market. So, it is more like killing two bird with a stone.
The stress and all can be killing, honestly especially when you are looking for a particular item.. but of course, it comes with its own advantages.
Before I continue let me tell you about my brother’s experience
Due to the fact that my brother is a busy person, I mean he works. He always order whatever he needs I mean everything. But whatever he orders always come with a fault. I remembered when he ordered a Jean trouser, One; the trouser waist was so big, two; it was used. Leaving the trouser aside, the shoe he order was different from what he actually got. Heheh, it is hilarious.
But right now, whenever he is coming from work he branches at the market and get what he wants.. having a perfect match. He also realized that the price difference was huge (excluding delivery fee)
The only I knew he ordered that was okay was his wristwatch.
Now, the advantages of shopping physically .. you have ‘millions of choices’.. which can also lead to confusion. But yeah, you see different design, different materials used, different beauty. I might even have a change of mind to pick something more beautiful.
The prices, the prices you see online are always more than the regular store’s, beside that you have a chance to negotiate and get a perfect price. And the delivery fee, heheee.. it is always funny sometimes.
I remembered when I wanted to order a face cream and yeah it was rare, it was about $5 but the delivery was about $3.5.. lol. I had to look for people that wanted to get any skin care products, so they could delivery it together
When you shop physically, you get perfect chance to lay a complaint, they can either apologize, refund you or change the item for a good one. But online vendor, they come up with excuses or they give you the “No refund” policy.
That is why I said I prefer someone I know, I can easily go to the person place and pick it up using that opportunity to even say hi lol. I can even easily report a complaint.
Plus, I have seen what people ordered vs what they got, not just online but with people I know even my sister..
So I wanted to get a necklace, which she posted and it was really pretty
So, I chatted her up saying I like it we talked about the amount.
I asked her if she has it with her so she would be able to snap it for me to see how it looks not on some online, some model or some another person. Guyyyysss. I have been ‘holding’ since Sunday.
So, I have always been careful when I order, I order from people I know or if the example given was made by them and not some screenshot online. I also like them to snap it like at that moment.
