como ilustración para un cuento infantil me ha salido este ejercicio que ha partido de la nada, fue un experimento en el que me propuse solo ir manchando e ir descubriendo formas para que al final se fuera definiendo esta composición.

como ilustración para un cuento infantil me ha salido este ejercicio que ha partido de la nada, fue un experimento en el que me propuse solo ir manchando e ir descubriendo formas para que al final se fuera definiendo esta composición.
Narrativa del proceso / Process narrative
Como dije al comenzar no tenia un item o un concepto definido que me diera la idea para comenzar a realizar este dibujo, pues comencé agregando algunas manchas de colores neutros y un amarillo muy claro cuando ya se me parecía a un paisaje. ¡bueno! dibuje un tronco a ver si podía estar de ese lado de la composición un árbol, pues vi que si podía, así que comencé dibujar el árbol con hojas amarillas. Se complementaba de manera agradable con el paisaje, ya tenia un aire de calidez la imagen. Definí un poco el tronco, le hice algunas raíces, ¿y que creen? en ese punto no me gustaba la composición, a pesar de que las iluminaciones y algo de textura que contonea la silueta del árbol me resulto armónica, sentía que faltaba algo en la composición. pues primero elegí un color que contrastara con esa calidez y fue con un azul que comencé ir manchando y construyendo una figura que al comienzo parecía una mascara luego de ir definiendo el cuerpo comenzó a parecer algún tipo de animal de cuatro patas ...
As I said at the beginning, I did not have an item or a defined concept that gave me the idea to start making this drawing, so I started by adding some spots of neutral colors and a very light yellow when it already looked like a landscape. Well! I drew a trunk to see if a tree could be on that side of the composition, because I saw that it could, so I began to draw the tree with yellow leaves. It complemented nicely with the landscape, the image already had an air of warmth. I defined the trunk a bit, I made some roots, and what do you think? At that point I didn't like the composition, despite the fact that the lighting and some texture that waddles the silhouette of the tree seemed harmonious to me, I felt that something was missing in the composition. Well, first I chose a color that contrasted with that warmth and it was with a blue that I began staining and building a figure that at first looked like a mask, after defining the body, it began to look like some kind of four-legged animal...

... ya me comenzaba a parecer una extraña raza de perro, su color rompía con toda la calidez de la imagen pero todavía sentía que faltaba un elemento que integrara la ruptura azul con la calidez del entorno y es que no me quiero adentrar en una clase de teoría de color pero el color verde me sirvió como mediador para que estos se complementaran y el pasto de un primer plano puede estar justificado para enriquecer la composición. Así fueron apareciendo los elementos, es una composición sencilla, orgánica y armónica, sin embargo en este punto del proceso, todavía sentía que le faltaba algo y para ser sincero no sabia que poner en esta imagen que no me arruinara el ritmo de los elementos pues como un juego de niños solo agregue una mancha de azul parecido al celeste, cuando la puse pues vi el potencial de esa mancha de convertirse en un elemento mágico -es que puede ser el "Aleph" de "Jorge Luis Borges"- ... bueno esa expresión mágica que se manifestó, podía ser una fuente de luz en el dibujo, y si que me agrado esa experimentada mancha.
...it already began to look like a strange breed of dog to me, its color broke with all the warmth of the image but I still felt that an element was missing that would integrate the blue break with the warmth of the environment and that is that I do not want to delve into a color theory class but the green color helped me as a mediator so that they complement each other and the grass in a foreground can be justified to enrich the composition. This is how the elements appeared, it is a simple, organic and harmonious composition, however at this point in the process, I still felt that something was missing and to be honest I did not know what to put in this image that would not ruin the rhythm of the elements for me. Like child's play, I just added a spot of blue similar to light blue, when I put it on, I saw the potential of that spot to become a magical element -it could be the "Aleph" of "Jorge Luis Borges" -... well, that magical expression that manifested itself could be a source of light in the drawing, and I did like that experienced stain.

Para mi fue una terapia muy relajante realizar este dibujo que quizá parezca una composición sencilla que me parece una ilustración de cuento infantil. Para mi fue una especie de descubrimiento, he disfrutado mucho realizarlo ¡espero que les guste! Nos vemos en el próximo post.
For me it was a very relaxing therapy to make this drawing that may seem like a simple composition that seems to me like an illustration from a children's story. For me it was a kind of discovery, I really enjoyed doing it, I hope you like it! See you in the next post.
