Hello hi everyone how are you greetings to all of you and welcome to my another recipe blog for creative-sunday in the community. I hope you guys all are well and enjoying winters with delicious food. Today I am sharing very special and most favourite dish of many people also in India. It's called Saag in our language or you can called Green leafy vegetable with spinach and goosefoot. In winters this vegetable cooked many times and some people saved it for next days in the fridge. So I want to share with all of you so let's start the process.
Ingredients
One kg spinach
Half kg goosefoot
2 kg leafy green vegetable
Wheat flour
Ginger
Spices
Salt
Chilli flakes
Desi ghee
Process
First I took green leaves goosefoot and spinach then cut and wash under water very well. I took a big wide pot put whole cut green leaves in the pot then added hot water and covered with lid for cooking whole green leaves spinach and goosefoot. I put under midum flame for 1 to 2 hours.
After 2 hours I took out remaining water from the green leaves then put under side of stove for mixing well like a grinder. While mixing I added wheat flour salt and chilli flakes in it.
After this I crushed ginger then made tarka in ghee for spreading above the saag.
After 5 hours saag is ready for serving with rice flour bread and corn flour bread. You can see final look.
