I won't want to be beat around the bush on this topic about the most important tool I use for my work. I have some few things doing and a lot of tools are involved in it, but the one that stands out the most is my phone. Yes, my phone is the most important tool, even though it might look normal and all considering the fact that everyone has it and carries it about, but to me it is more like my work place.
Some will definitely talk about machines, equipments, instruments and all of that, and all those are beautiful too, just that we all are different. Here, I will discuss the few things I do and even you will see that there are machines and instruments relating to my work, even still my work still revolves around my phone.
First off let's talk about this amazing platform, hive. My phone has become a very big and handy tool when it comes to writing, there sr even a while lot of things I have written in my note app that hasn't been published in any community yet, when an idea comes in, I pick up my phone ASAP and open the neite app and began to write. I have some writeup that are way below the normal word count that needs to be expantiated on, I have some that's already ready to be posted and all. So, my phone has come in handy in writing, in engaging on other's post, in editing and all of that, and without it this blogging journey would have been very difficult for me.
Also, let's talk about other things that I do, I happen to make frames, magic mugs, throw pillows, and such, and y'all will agree with me that there are a lot of tools needed in doing that, still my phone still comes in first, I remember a time when I the shop I usually work at was robbed, all their tools were taken away. Still, we kept on taking orders with our phone and go to somewhere else to work. My phone is where I'm able to get messages from clients, know what they want, how they want it, when and where it should be delivered. I can say it is the bridge between I and and those who need my service.
Also, I'm into selling of wares, clothes and kitchen utensils. I actually do not have a shop of my own where all of that is stocked in, but I have vendors who sell, I take pictures from their group and post on mine, and I get buyers who ask for it, when they show interest and pay, I set towmrk on how to get it for them. Talking about the frame business I do too, when I'm done with it, I take pictures of it and post it online for more people to see, and that is how.a lot of people get to discover me and what I do. And we all know what the internet is capable of today, just one work, just a picture can bring hundreds of new ones. So, my phone contributes greatly in that aspect too.
There was a time I had issues with my phone, it wasn't a good time at all. If it had been another tool for work, I could have gone somewhere else to get whatever work I have at hand done, but my phone is where my customers will reach me, that is where I'm still discussing pending others with some. At that time, my focus was on repairing it, and that was when I realized how important that tool really is.
And about if I can do without my phone, well I should be able to do without it. Just that the speed and connection it offers will be gone. My phone is a lot in one for me, I communicate and reach people via it an it is also the place where I market what I do. So, being without it means my productivity level will slow down and there won't be much opportunities and connections like before.
