Good day everyone I be jumping into these week prompt cause it has a lot to talk about it.
Everyone has different opinions when it comes to money and privacy, but honestly this week’s prompt really got me thinking deeply because money is one of the major causes of problems in society today.

First of all, if salaries and earnings were published online for everybody to see, I honestly do not think it would be a good thing. It sounds strange already because it simply means there is no privacy anymore.
Imagine waking up one day and the whole world already knows how much you earn monthly. Omg, that kind thing can cause plenty problems.
One thing about humans is that comparison can never end. The moment people start seeing that another person earns more than them, jealousy will naturally enter.
Some people might begin to feel cheated, especially workers in the same company. Even if two people are doing different jobs, the one earning less might start developing hatred or anger towards the person earning higher.
Instead of focusing on improving themselves, many people would just spend their time comparing salaries.
Another dangerous side of it is crime. If criminals can easily know who earns well, they will know exactly who to target.
Kidnapping, robbery, fraud, and all sorts of crimes could increase because bad people will already have access to information about wealthy individuals. Honestly, nowhere would feel safe anymore because people would become too exposed.
Apart from crime, I also feel it would affect relationships between friends and even family members. Some people may suddenly become fake around you once they know you earn good money. Others may start expecting financial help from you all the time simply because they know your salary. If you refuse to help, they may call you stingy or wicked without understanding your own responsibilities and expenses.
For employers too, this idea could create tension in workplaces. Workers may constantly protest or drag management online because they discovered another employee earns more. Even when there are valid reasons for salary differences like experience, qualification, or position, many people may not understand it that way.
The working environment could become toxic and uncomfortable.
Although some people may argue that publishing salaries can help expose corruption or unfair payment systems, I still believe the disadvantages are bigger than the advantages. There are better ways governments and organizations can fight corruption without removing people’s privacy completely.
In my own opinion, salary and earnings should remain private. Not everything needs to be exposed online for the public to see. Money matters are sensitive, and once privacy disappears, peace of mind can disappear too. Instead of creating transparency, it may only create jealousy, hatred, insecurity, and chaos in society.
At the end of the day, I believe everyone deserves the right to keep their earnings personal. Some secrets are better left private, and salary is definitely one of them.
That one big lesson I learnt in life not all things are supposed to be public.
Thanks for taking your time to read my post hope to see you again blog
