The word abortion is already a taboo for me. Just hearing it makes me feel sick and angry because I truly don’t understand why abortion should even exist in the first place. I have so many reasons to justify this feeling. There is a rule for everything in life Sex is sweet we all know that but the pleasure people enjoy is the same pleasure that can lead to a child. If you know you are not ready for a child and all you want is enjoyment, then why go through the stress of having unprotected sex or ignore family planning? I honestly don’t know why some people act without thinking about the consequences. They want intimacy but dont want responsibility. It doesn’t add up.
What annoys me more is when someone discovers they are pregnant with the wrong person or when a guy gets a girl pregnant and suddenly the next idea is to remove the baby. For what? What has the innocent child done to deserve being killed before seeing the world? It doesn’t make sense. People call it choice but to me it feels like cruelty.
There are two things I am very sure abortion can lead to. If there are more, they can add them in the comment section. One: abortion can lead to the death of both the child and the mother. Two: it can damage the womb and cause future miscarriages or lifelong infertility. Then one day, when the person finally wants a child they won't be able to have one they will start questioning God asking, Why am I barren forgetting it was their decision years ago that caused the pain they are facing now.
When it comes down to the real question is abortion something people should do even if they are not ready? my answer remains NO if you are not prepared for a child why put yourself in a situation which leads to pregnancy in the first place? Protected sex exists. Family planning exists. Self-control exists. It is foolishness to ignore all that and then turn around to destroy a life forming inside you.
And for many men who advise their partner to abort, honestly, if I had the power I would jail them. Not only is there a high chance of losing the child, but the woman's life is also at risk. Before you know it, it becomes a complete tragedy, a murder case even.
The law may not openly approve abortion yet some doctors still do it quietly because of the money they collect. They know the implications. But greeds blind them. Taking the life of a child who is supposed to enter this world is something I would never understand.
Every child is meant to be a blessing sending them away through abortion is not right. You might think you are solving a problem, but you are only reminding God of the punishment that comes with destroying his creation. Even mothers who willingly support know how deep down the risk is involved yet they still go ahead. It is honestly crazy when you think about it.
I think I will be dropping my pen now having said enough a piece of me how I felt about the world abortion.
