Life itself is a Risk... Everything we do in life is all about risk, so it is awkward to me when I hear people say they can't take Risk. It get me smiling because when I know fully well that life is a risk, just living in life is a total Risk.. You can be asking me why I am sounding this way.Yes!! Looking at the situation ans everything in life you will believe with me that everything we do is risk... Risk in my own words, I will say that it is the unknown outcome of an event. Therefore risk can also be taking as probability. In a situation where you don't know the outcome of something but you keep doing them, that's what I meant by taking risk.. Then when I said the life itself is a Risk, we don't know that we will wake up if we sleep but we decide to sleep. You don't know what if the breath which you are breathing can seize that anytime, but we all hope and keep breathing. Now let me break it more, you decide to do something in life without knowing if it will work out or not but you always hope that there is every possibility or probability that it will work out. And you also have this in mind that there's other probability that it might not work out but you just chose to keep doing it. That is life for us and life itself is a risk...
I can't say I have not taken risk in life because just like I always keep saying that life is a risk itself. I took many risk everyday just to make sure we live. As far as life is concerned who will keep on taking risks. Some of the things we do in life without us being able to take risk we might not be able to achieve those things. Risk is as a factor that enable us to consider or think deep about what we are about to do. Without the sense of taking risk we can casually do anything we like or once at any time. But when we have the idea that for everything we do there is a repercussion or a tax attached to it which can also be known as the "risk effect". Then it will allow us to have a rethink over what we are about to do. I can't count how many risk I have taken just this year but I have to pick up one just for the sake of this prompt topic.
At the beginning of this year 2025, we were preparing for our final exam which held on March and after that I passed and became a Registered Midwife. I started my general nursing program having it in mind that there is no money on ground to start it. But then I have to take the list of starting, it was not an easy decision to make because the expenses was times three of what I spent during my midwifery program. I have to reach out to people who can help me and as God made have his way helps came from different angles and I started the general Nursing program.. I have it in mind that I'm going to be dismissed out of the school if I don't pay off the 70% of the fee but then I needed to start even without knowing what the outcome might be. But to call the Last story shorts, today I am indexed into the Nursing and Midwifery Council Of Nigeria for my Post Basic Nursing program... Indeed it is a Risk worth taking..
