Learning is something that happens everyday, you can't stay without learning anything, it is not that it is a compulsory thing but it happened involuntarily, many at times you don't see yourself willing to learn something but somehow somehow you get to have knowledge about it and definitely learn those things. Learning in institution has a different phase and different process all together, compare with learning from day-to-day activities.
Going to classes these days learning and coming out with good grades acquires greater inputs in work not just mere talks. You don't just assume to come out with good grades without putting effort either by hook or by crook. These days students are concerning about having good grades other than learning or acquiring better knowledge. It is no more about, how well you know something, it's all revolve around what grade are you graduating with, what are your grades of graduation.
Because of this mentality students tend to focus more on having good grades than understanding the call fundamental Factor of their studies. Sometimes I do ask myself can education do more better than good grades, if student can cram just to pass their exam and at the end of the day they will forget everything they read, is it worth calling passing? However in school days you will definitely hear some students say do whatever you can do to pass your exams.
Now what happened after passing your exams and you are not able to practicalize that which you graduated from, in other words, you cannot be able to defend what certificate you are holding. That is where I can suggest that, practical should be the baseline Factor for assessing students who are under educational environment.
When one can comfortably and to a good better extent practicalize what was taught, he will be sure that this person assimilate and understood what was taught. Not just to memorize a line and write them down and at the end of the whole day you forget where is started and where the ending point is. The ideology of good grade is still important in academics and education including learning, because attending good grades, is a factor that motivates students the more.
The faster way realize that education is beyond just good grade, the area for us to augment the process of assessing grades or comparing grades to acquiring the knowledge. I am speaking from a sense of understanding that you can have good grades without having full knowledge of your discipline.
In education setting grade are very important factor that should always exist, however the assessment of grade is what should be look into instead of theoretical let it be more of practicals.
