You've beautifully summarized the problems facing our worsening educational system.
As I read this piece I remembered my undergraduate days with a wry smile. Despite studying one of the most practical oriented course in the world - Chemistry -most of my time was spent in the class listening to lecturers wax lyrical about particular reaction pathways with no practical proof.
That's why one high profile dude in the country once said our graduates are not employable. The gap between what we were supposed to and what we were taught in school is way too alarming. Our educational sector needs a total revamp.
