Hello everyone, it's another day and it's Hive learner's weekly contest. It's week 25, edition 02 contest.
Presently in Nigeria my county, things are not going as smooth as we all want. The country is not at peace, or should I say we have bad governance? Yes, that's the right word to use. Our leaders, don't care about citizens, they don't listen to our pains and cry. For instance, some Nigerian school has been on strike for a long time now, the students had cried and pleaded, that the strike should be called off so that they will back to school, but nothing was done to their request. Too bad, all this is happening. Even some individuals are now saying that school is a scam, and it's not worth going to. Why did you think they said this? They do, because after they graduate from school is very hard for them to get a job, and most graduates go back into learning handwork like tailoring, and shoemaking and turn into bike raiders, and all this is not supposed to be so.
Our education sector is very bad and discouraging. Going to school is now like a side hustle. Most rich people are taking their children out of the country, to another country to study due to the strike, and the leaders of the country are not left out.
Let's talk about the rate of crime and fraud going on in the country. A lot of young girls and boys are involved in crimes. The boys are into fraud which they call yahoo here, and the girls are into prostitution and all sorts of bad things.

Seriously, I don't think there is hope for Nigeria, because things keep getting worse. Except we have a change in governance, and that's if that person is good.
Our future lies in the next person coming to govern us. We are all praying, and hoping for a better future.
