Hive has been more for me since I signed up an account to be part of it. It's been from one new knowledge to another, one level to another, one achievement to another and I can't say it had nothing to do with the various and continuous innovative upgrades done by developers on the blockchain to make users' experience better.
I was here during two hard forks so I've witnessed how much better Hive could get by every hard fork and I also do know it has gotten to the point that I can't expect but just wait to be wowed by new ideas coming from both users and developers of the blockchain.
Thanks to the Hive learners prompt, I've read really good suggestions from users on what they'd love to see Hive achieve even amidst the awesome achievements Hive has now. So here I am with an upgrade suggestion I thought about.

What if Hive has a P2P feature?
Before anything, I'd love to state it very clearly that Hive is awesome as it is right now. That is, we could do with this upgrade suggestion I'm giving but it's going to be a lot amazing to have this added if it really is possible.
I know we've got some people already engaging in the p2p form of withdrawal here on Hive but it is only limited to people of the same region or country where they use the same currency. So they just send their own currency and get paid with Hive or HBD.
While this is good for users already, and even to myself when I have to help someone to not go through the stress of making withdrawals using Binance feature or any other platform that allows withdrawals, I feel Hive would do the users' a lot more favour if one is built here on the Hive blockchain.
An easy to use and secured P2P feature for Hive users exclusively, is my upgrade suggestion.
Just in case any don't know what P2P is, I'll give a quick explanation to what it and this definition is as explained on my research.
P2P is a peer-to-peer marketplace where you can directly trade crypto with other Binance users.
So if Hive is to have one, the definition would be "A peer-to-peer marketplace where you can directly trade Hive or HBD or Hive engine tokens with other Hive users."
For one who finds Hive as a second home, trusts the blockchain and spends time here, it just feels kinda off that I'd have to go through another Web3 platform to get to have such transactions when it could be possible having same transactions here on Hive and have the blockchain gain from the p2p benefits that comes with it.
I read somewhere that binance earns while people transact using their features, would be amazing if I'd be contributing to Hive growth that way too. This is what P2P feature looks like on Binance π
You could buy and sell Usdt after converting your HBD to Hive and to Usdt using their trade option. When you sell, you're directed here to your local country people to transact and get paid in your own currency. The process isn't so tedious but it is definitely one I'd wish not to do often and I want to believe Hive would provide a much easier and better experience if this feature is added to the blockchain.
I'd love to note here also that if this feature is added, it'd be easier for small investors like me to invest some of my money from local currency into the blockchain and not just only making withdrawals from the blockchain. This way, users will find it easier to buy more Hive to invest when they can and also find it easier to sell off in case of such situations.
There is always a possible downside to every good thing about features used in a platform of users. This suggestion have it's own downside as users could find it too easy to sell off their earnings on the blockchain but I want to believe that we have a lot more people who is on the blockchain for the long term.
Make transactions having the family feel while you're at it on Hive P2P feature.
This feature will help boost a lot of trust on the blockchain and also be beneficial to all as we all do make transactions with other platforms when we want to get some funds in or out of the blockchain.
Some more benefits I'd love to highlight are:
- Users get to connect more with their fellow users.
- Newbies will have more guidance on how to transact when it's the right time.
- The feature would have the Hive feel on it, making it easy to use.
- Users will get to promote and grow their brands more through this means.
- There will be more investors if more people trust the system through this feature.
These and many more benefits will be for the users and the blockchain if this feature is added but like I said, it is only a suggestion and in response to the prompt topic for Hive learners hehe.
