I'm guessing this prompt idea came from the recent rise in angry fans over their celebrity, the one happening among Korean actors fans is the one I've learnt so much about and honestly, I can't express how angry I am about the whole thing. A female Korean actor committed suicide some days ago and the reason is still shocking to me.
How do fans go from "Hey! I love him so much" to "Go and die, you are useless!"? They act like they know what it means to be a celebrity, like the celebrity never made them happy, like they never were a fan, and all that is to react to a mistake the celebrity must have done, forgetting that celebrities are first humans before become one.
I've never had this want to be famous but a lot of things I've done over time have made people calling themselves my fan, not in the bigger way. It's very easy to become famous, for any reasons of course, including the bad and the good reasons. While it is easy to rise to fame, it is hard to keep that fame and not be criticized by fans.
One thing people need to understand is, it's okay to be a fan but the essence of you being a fan is to encourage that celebrity, not judge what they do and being very annoying about it. The Korean actor who committed suicide some days ago was said to have been fighting with fans criticisms for drunk driving for over two years.
It's a wonder how she had kept alive for that long only to commit suicide now and the fans didn't seem to even regret much about the whole as they seem to be finding blames on other celebrity for the cause of her death, it's really annoying. I must say, being a fan is a scary thing because a word you say could save a life or lead to a death.
I've noticed how difficult it is for celebrities to come out open about their relationships or plans to get married just because fans tend to become fanatics over the situations, judging so harshly about the partners these celebrities end up with. I saw a skit some days ago, the Korean actor cried saying something so simple but complicated.
"I want to get married but..., he didn't give the full sentence but you could tell from his expression that his fans are not willing to let him have someone too close yet and one thing every celebrity needs along with that fame is someone very close who they can share their hearts with. These celebrities are humans like us really!
I know anyone would ask, why should celebrities worry about their fans and not just follow their hearts. Well, some have and some just couldn't after seeing what the others went through. Nobody would love to see someone they love being criticized badly by people they thought were their fans. Really, fans have gone too deep.
If it was left for me, I'll say there should be no Fandom creations, just genuine cheers when there is a real talent to appreciate and skip the whole invasion of the personal life of that talent, even these fans might have it worse in their hideouts but pouring their frustrations on celebrities who as human as they can be.
