For the movie fans like me, is it just me or you also get into that situation of not knowing where to start from in making a review after seeing a good movie? π I mean, the movie is well done that you'd be confused where exactly you would start with to make the movie look even better for any who's yet to see it.
I was going to see a particular Indian movie, I really wanted to but I couldn't find it to download and there was no subtitle to the one I found on YouTube so I settled for this one. The kdrama I completed three days ago... Healer
Type: Drama
Episodes: 20
Aired: Dec 8, 2014 - Feb 10, 2015
Original Network: KBS2
You won't believe it that it was at the last episode I realized that the series had just 20 episodes π
I was hoping to see more and get to the end of the end of the movie... You don't get it? Well, the only explanation is that... The series was worth every time I spent on it, special thanks to for recommending it to me late last two weeks. I can't believe I procrastinated seeing it until last week and then I finished it three days ago.
The drama has one of my favourite character in it and yes, he didn't fail to give me just what I expected of him on this one too. I'm not a huge fan of action but whenever I decide to see a movie or series with the action genre, I always never regret seeing it π this drama didn't just give me lots of actions, it also set my heart on suspense and gave me goosebumps at some scenes... The entertainment was topnotch in short and that is what I look forward to in the movies I decide to spend time on.
If I'm being honest, the lead character is the number one reason I loved and enjoyed this drama.
Seo Jung Hoo starred by Ji Chang Wook is a special night courier popularly known as "Healer" who makes sure to fulfil his bargain with clients in exchange for money and his major dream is to buy an island and live there all his life... His life took a huge turn to his past and the dangers of uncovering secrets when he was paid to stay close to a female reporter.
The Fighter (Healer) began to live as normal citizen during the day close to the reporter but still a courier at night. His skills, confidence and funny moves when he's on a mission is enough to get you glued to your screen. One thrilling aspect of the series is that he hides his face so everyone who knew Healer never saw his face or know what he looked like. It's thrilling to see how he keeps his cover a secret.
See this woman on this image? She's my second favourite character in the drama π you'd love her so much if you see this drama. She's the hacker behind the popular Healer and she literally have an answer to every problem Healer comes across so long it's technology wise. I guess there won't be a Healer without this amazing Hacker.
Even though I felt it wasn't so real with the way she operated the tech stuffs, I liked that she kept helping out our beloved lead character out of trouble even in her playful state π the series is a load of comedy, action and continuous suspense.
Did you notice I didn't talk about the female lead? If you did, great! I wanted you to notice that on your own... She played an important role in the whole drama especially in the aspect of causing actions to happen but I can swear that my focus was all on the main character himself Healer you won't blame me, he's got it and he delivered well.
Check out the trailer here and I'll recommend you see the drama too, you don't have to be a kdrama fan first. Any action movie lover would love this one. 8/10 rating from me.
