I've often wondered what kind of adventure I would risk if I had the resources. In fact, it's an idea that I'm always planning; you never know when the opportunity might arrive. I'm an adventurous guy, I've always loved camping, hiking and going to cities, especially cities that have places where I can do the above. Lately, I haven't ventured out as much; you know how it is, we don't always have the financial resources or the time. In fact, I'm more focused on my personal projects. However, I have a dream that has been with me for a long time; I would like to go on a long trip, visiting the countries of Latin America.
But it wouldn't be one of those typical trips where you get on a bus or a plane, go to a hotel and then visit the clichéd tourist attractions. My idea is something much more "underground"; I'd like to get on a motorcycle and just go. However, I abandoned the motorcycle idea some time ago, after a friend had an accident; I was traumatized. A motorcycle could be economical, as it uses less fuel, but it's uncomfortable and I wouldn't be able to carry much. So this idea is maturing in my head with a safer vehicle; a motorhome would be perfect. I already have a rough idea of how it would be structured; now all that's missing is the opportunity and the necessary resources!
An adventure like that would be beautiful. I'm a great admirer of Latin American culture. This would be a trip of many days, months or perhaps years; I would like to get to know many cities during this adventure. It would be incredible to be able to talk to people from different cultures, to observe the daily life of others, to see how each place has its own particularities and customs. I'd like to look back and feel nostalgic for where I came from, if only for a moment.
I know that if one day I managed to realize this dream, I would be a more complete person. I'd be happy to do it. I follow some adventurers who travel from city to city. In particular, I follow a guy I knew growing up who has a YouTube channel. I'm in awe of his courage and daring, and I admit I'm also a little envious, but a good kind of envious, at wanting to do this and feel a little of the free spirit that lives in him, or in anyone who adheres to this lifestyle.
I believe that an adventure like this would add a lot to my personal growth. Imagine how many lessons, lessons learned and experiences could be acquired after visiting various places, getting to know different cultures and talking to people who live and have a different cultural and social outlook from my own. My intellectual and cultural baggage would certainly be heavier when I returned home.
The memories would be just as precious. An adventure like this would give me the honor of accumulating good stories and even the not-so-good ones would have value. After all, it's in the most difficult moments or in turbulence that we acquire the most knowledge, right? I believe that an adventure like this would be truly incredible and it's part of my plans to complete it one day. Until then, I'll be preparing myself and visiting more accessible places for a shorter amount of time. I can say that I'll be rehearsing for the big day, or rather, the big trip!

Por muitas vezes, eu já fiquei refletindo sobre que tipo de aventura eu arriscaria se tivesse recursos. Na verdade, essa é uma ideia da qual eu sempre fico planejando; nunca se sabe quando a oportunidade pode chegar. Eu sou um cara aventureiro, sempre gostei muito de acampar, fazer trilhas e ir para cidades, principalmente cidades que possuam lugares onde eu possa fazer o que foi citado antes. Ultimamente, eu não tenho me arriscado tanto; você deve saber como é, nem sempre temos recursos financeiros ou tempo. Na verdade, eu estou mais focado em meus projetos pessoais. Porém, tenho um sonho que me acompanha há bastante tempo; eu gostaria de fazer uma longa viagem, visitando os países da América Latina.
Mas essa viagem não seria uma daquelas típicas das quais pegamos um ônibus ou um avião, vamos para um hotel e depois visitamos os pontos turísticos clichês. A minha ideia é algo bem mais "underground"; eu gostaria de pegar uma moto e apenas ir. Porém, eu abandonei essa ideia da moto já faz algum tempo, depois que um amigo sofreu um acidente; fiquei traumatizado. A moto poderia ser algo econômico, já que gasta menos combustível; porém, é desconfortável e eu não conseguiria levar muitas coisas. Por isso, essa ideia é amadurecida na minha cabeça com um veículo mais seguro; um motorhome seria perfeito. Eu já tenho uma ideia superficial de como a estrutura dele seria; agora só falta a oportunidade e os recursos necessários!
Uma aventura como essa seria muito linda. Eu sou um grande admirador da cultura latino-americana. Essa seria uma viagem de muitos dias, meses ou talvez anos; eu gostaria de conhecer muitas cidades durante essa aventura. Seria incrível poder conversar com pessoas de culturas diferentes da minha, observar o cotidiano alheio, ver como cada lugar possui suas particularidades e seus costumes. Eu gostaria de olhar para trás e sentir saudades de onde vim, nem que seja por um momento.
Sei que se um dia eu conseguir realizar esse sonho, eu seria uma pessoa mais completa. Seria feliz por realizar essa façanha. Eu acompanho alguns aventureiros que vivem viajando de cidade em cidade. Em especial, acompanho um cara que conheci na minha infância e que tem um canal no YouTube. Fico admirado pela coragem e ousadia e admito, tenho também um pouco de inveja, mas uma inveja do bem, em querer fazer isso e sentir um pouco do espírito livre que habita nele, ou em qualquer um que adere a esse estilo de vida.
Acredito que uma aventura como essa iria agregar muito para meu crescimento pessoal. Imagine quantas lições, aprendizados e experiências poderiam ser adquiridos depois de visitar vários lugares, conhecer culturas distintas e conversar com pessoas que vivem e têm uma perspectiva cultural e social diferente da minha. Com certeza, a minha bagagem intelectual e cultural estaria mais pesada quando eu voltasse para casa.
As lembranças seriam outra preciosidade. Uma aventura como essa me daria a honra de acumular histórias boas e até mesmo as não tão boas teriam valor. Afinal, são nos momentos mais difíceis ou em uma turbulência que adquirimos mais conhecimento, certo? Acredito que uma aventura como essa seria realmente incrível e faz parte dos meus planos concluí-la um dia. Até lá, estarei me preparando e visitando lugares mais acessíveis e por uma quantidade de tempo menor. Posso dizer que estarei vivendo um ensaio para o grande dia, ou melhor, para a grande viagem!
