There are many advantages to having everything online, but it depends on the context. Just as there are good things, there are also bad ones. First, in the workplace, it's very beneficial because there are jobs that don't require in-person work.
What's known as working from home these days allows people to live far from their workplaces, working long hours to get there and only getting home for a few hours to sleep, all to provide for their families. Being at home gives these workers the freedom to be more rested and perform better.
This also means saving on travel expenses and being much more attentive to their various activities. They'll have greater comfort while working, and companies can also save on office space for remote workers. They could even use that space to hire more staff if the reason they couldn't hire more was due to space limitations or because they were planning to rent a new location.
I also know there's a downside: some companies have paid for office space for a long time, and what will happen to that space? They might decide it's better for their employees to work in person, or they might think their workers aren't being productive without seeing them. I know some people might take advantage of this, but others will truly appreciate it.
Because of the long commutes, working from home also creates other problems for employers. They might think we're unavailable or not working, but in reality, we are. Those work hours should be respected for the sake of their families and other people living in the home.
Because they are taking advantage of a benefit that was granted to them, they should also understand that they shouldn't be dependent on the person who is there, as if their time should be taken away or their attention should be diverted from other things. I'm not saying they shouldn't be aware of what's happening around them, but they shouldn't delegate more work to them. They should continue with their activities without depending on the person working from home.
I know that not everyone can understand this or sees it differently, but if you have a family member or household member working from home, talk to them or observe how they work. They are truly doing their job, and it would be unfair to burden them with more tasks during their work hours. Speaking of relationships, the family member might start arguing with the person working, but no matter how angry they are, it's better to wait until their workday is over. Besides, they know they won't have to wait for hours on their way home.
There will also be another group of people whose work is more field-based, who may feel some envy about not being able to work from home like others. But in my opinion, it's because of the type of work they do. I know there are jobs that require constant physical presence, and I don't think that's something to envy because you're working at something you enjoy. But even if that weren't the case, there are things that people who work from home miss out on.

Lo que hoy en día se llama Home Office, hay personas que viven muy lejos de sus lugares de trabajo en donde se hacen muchas horas para poder llegar en donde solo llegan a dormir a casa unas pocas horas para poder traer sustento a casa, al estar en casa les una libertad para que sus trabajadores estén más descansados puedan rendir mejor.
Eso implica también ahorrarse la persona del pasaje y estar mucho más atento a sus distintos tipos de actividades, podrá tener una mejor comodidad para trabajar, pero también se pueden ahorrar las empresas en espacios para esas personas que trabajan a distancia o también ese espacio que tienen puedan contratar a más personal si el motivo que no podía contratar a más era por el espacio o pensaban rentar algún nuevo lugar podrían ahorrarse esa parte.
También sé que hay un lado malo donde hay empresas que pagaron por bastante tiempo los lugares y que sucederá con ese espacio el cual mejor deciden que estén trabajando de forma presencialmente o puede pensar que sus trabajadores no están siendo productivos al no verlos, pero sé que pueden existir personas que se aprovechan, pero hay otras que no que en verdad lo apreciaran mucho.
Debido a sus largas distancias que se hacen para sus trabajos, estando en casa como empleador también surgen otro tipo de problemas porque piensan que estamos disponibles o que no estén trabajando, pero en verdad si están trabajando, esos horarios deberían ser respetados ante sus familiares y personas que viven en ese hogar.
Porque están aprovechando un beneficio que se les otorgo en donde también deben entender, deberían pensar hasta cierto punto que no dependan que porque se encuentra ahí la persona puedan quitarle en su tiempo o que ponga a prestar atención a otras cosas, yo no digo que no esté al pendiente de lo que suceda alrededor pero también no le deleguen más carga, sigan con sus actividades sin depender de la persona que está trabajando en casa.
Se que no todos pueden entenderlo o lo ven de otra forma pero si tienen algún familiar o algún miembro de su hogar hablen con el u obsérvelo como trabaja, porque en verdad está haciendo y también sería injusto que le carguen con más cosas durante su horario laboral, hablando también en las relaciones puede que empiece a pelear el familiar con la persona que este trabajando pero en verdad por más enojo que tengan mejor esperance hasta que termine su horario laboral, además saben que no tendrán que esperar las horas que se hace de camino a casa.
También estará otro grupo de personas donde su labor es mas de campo el cual talvez tengan algún tipo de envidia que no puedan trabajar desde casa como los demás, pero en mi pensar es por el tipo de trabajo que realizan, sé que hay trabajos que requieren tener siempre estén de forma presencial, no creo que sea algo que envidiar porque estas laborando en algo que te gusta, pero incluso si no fuera así hay cosas que pierden las personas que están desde casa.
