Hello Hive Learners friends. How are you all today, I hope we are all still in good health and can participate in activities smoothly.
On this occasion we have entered the second edition in week 45 of the contest held by the Hive Learners community, on this occasion we have set the title of the contest, namely learning technology. And I think this is a very interesting title because in this day and age learning technology, both students and university students, is of course very developed. They can learn with electronic devices, be it smartphones or computers, and I think this is also a tool that can make it easier for everyone to carry out the teaching and learning process. All right, friends, let's take a look at my discussion of the contest theme.
We all know that today's world is a very modern world, as well as the world of learning which has created several ways to learn so that it becomes easier to use various kinds of electronic devices such as computers and smartphones and other gadgets. With this more modern way of learning, it certainly becomes a more efficient thing in carrying out the teaching and learning process. Almost every place of study now has a computer or other gadget to continue the teaching and learning process which is better so that it is more modern.
I remember very well when I was in junior high school, at the same time at school we had provided a computer lab and there we were taught to learn through computers and this I felt was a more efficient learning process, and I had never before play the computer or use the computer and after I enter the lab, we will be taught there how to use the computer. And after that when I entered high school, a very modern system was also developed which was available in our school as well.
We are set to be able to study using the computer once a week and every student when it is required to have a flash disk to store the data they have been taught. At that time we were also taught Microsoft word and also Microsoft Excel and when I imagined that learning on a blackboard would be easier using a computer because the learning process using a computer would be more efficient and faster than learning on a blackboard. So, with this very modern world, of course we are no longer surprised when many people study using electronic devices, both computers or smartphones and other gadgets.
People in the past maybe didn't have a computer, of course. They always studied on the blackboard using chalk and wrote on the board. After the world is getting more modern, of course many people have started teaching and learning using computers or smartphones. When I studied when I was in college, I already used a learning system using infocus. So it's no longer difficult for lecturers to explain their material because they only need to open their laptops which are connected to InFocus and what they want to teach is of course already on the infocus screen and all they have to do is explain without having to write on the blackboard.
For me, when studying using either a computer or smartphone, this is not a distraction in my learning process, instead it becomes something that can speed up or make it easier for me to study. Because on a computer or smartphone, we can search for something we don't know, so here we can learn directly by typing what we want to find. Of course, what is even more important with the release of computers or smartphones or other gadgets, of course, if we use them properly, this is something that is very lucky for us. In the area where we live, a computer or smartphone is also a device that is commonly used by everyone, both in the teaching and learning process or in the world of work. So the conclusion for me is that computers, smartphones and other gadgets are very important and very efficient in doing anything.
