Been a baby you grow in love care and support of your parent, the vitality of youthful age makes you enjoy life, but who takes care of us when we are old. If there is anything I want to do as a good deed this holiday is to visit the elderly, show them some love and keep them warm.😍❤️🎊
Holidays happen to be one of the coldest seasons we often experience and after seeing the prompt I wouldn't stop thinking about the number of people out here who would have been feeling the impact of this cold and a bit of loneliness too maybe the elderly, vulnerable and homeless kids of our communities.
It is easy to give out the left over from your kitchen and even share food for people during this holiday. And another thing we easily do is to support people with little tokens here and there so that they can also use it for their holiday and festivities celebrations.
But do we know that the aged and elderly are often times forgotten in all of these givings?
Some have been abandoned to their room and bed with no one to check on them. While some youths forget their parents, some weren't blessed with kids hence they spend their lives in bed, been home and too weak to step out of their beds.
The elderly people in hospice have nurses and caregivers to take care of them nevertheless they will appreciate having some young blood around them in this season. It makes the holiday complete for everyone.
Nobody should be left out of jollyment of this season and a visit to the elderly will add more life to their countenance.
I remember our late Prophet T.B Joshua who made it a duty to visit the elderly giving them a good grooming and brings them out of their rooms to see the light of the sun, some of these people are as old as 100years and can no longer walk it is usually an emotional moments for me.
While the youths often buzzle around enjoying their holiday and shake off this cold in this process a quick check on our elderly people in the villages will show us just how much these people sleep cold and lonely every night and day in this season.

The challenges we face in life all comes in different colors and while what other people might need is just a moment to speak with someone who will not judge them others need just a piece of garment to keep them warm.
It will be easy for me to share out some Cardigans and hoodies without spending a dime, what I will do is to simply volunteer to gather all the used ones from people who have more than enough, have these clothes cleaned out and then go on a visit to distribute them to whoever needs them.
How about having a deposit point where people can bring these welfare materials, we will neatly package them like the ones in a boutique and have some elderly people drop by to pick what they need.
While everyone has some good seeds they wish to do in this holiday, my only desire is to keep people warm at heart and in their bodies.
