What we use to watch on video about camp is totally different when we got there at first i wish is not possible for me to go because i have to leave everything behind for good 21 days my business, hive , and so on.
My first day in camp was so stresseful as i got to camp so late in the night i must say that I'm even lucky because it's just 9hours journey from my place to camp there are some people that spent 2 days on road before they got to camp. I got to camp around 8pm in the night and finish my registration before 10pm that same night.
I could not eat because once it's 10pm it's light out which means you have to be in your hostel by fire or by force of not you will be punished by the military officers, you have to sleep by force and you must not press your phone if you are caught they will seize the phone.
They wake us up for around 3AM everyday and i must say the first week was so tough for everyone everything we do is authoritative and we cannot complain, there was a day we were being punished because some people make noice in the hostel and all of us in the hostel were being punished.
Well so far so good i have learnt alot in the NYSC camp
Discipline
Either you like it or not you must learn discipline if you happens to be online that doesn't like to follow rules and regulations here in camp you will learn it and you won't have choice, in fact you will be so submissive because there's nothing you can do imagine waking up for one specific time everyday for good 21 days unlike when we were alone that we can wake up at anytime, apart from that following orders is so necessary because if you don't then you will regret what will happen to you and if you prove stubborn then they will decamp you and once they do that it's shame on that person. In that camp the level of my discipline is so high and yes military officers are so discipline and number one in discipline.
Meeting different people and culture
You will meet different ethnics group and culture, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo and the rest and you will living with them one beautiful things about this is you will mingle with everyone and make friends with them me personally have 3 friends from another tribe that i really like even more than my tribe till this moment we are together and I'm enjoying their vibes everyday both the ladies and men.
Tolerance
Here it's takes a long way the level of your tolerance must be very high, start from the hostel you are given there are some people that doesn't have manners and will disturb your life in face some won't let you sleep 😴 some will shout even when you are sick, some will use toilet without cleaning if you level of tolerance is not high you will end up fighting with them and once you fight everyone will be punished so even you will find it difficult to fight and at the same time be in pain, some people went there to steal and we are thousands in number just in one hostel we might hive up to 50 to 60 hostel mate so how many people do you want to recognize?
That aside another level of tolerance is on parade ground they will wake you up by 3a.m no matter what and you must be on parade ground by 4:30am latest inside the cold 🥶 and so on and you will be there till 7:30 am till you go for lunch standing everyday, imagine that kind of tolerance, alot of people fainted and collapse on the training grounds because it's definitely not easy task.
That aside after you finish eating you must come back to parade ground latest by 9a.m and failed to do that you will be in trouble. In a nutshell the level of tolerance in camp must be very very high if not you might find yourself in trouble.
Endurance
This is very important too imagine standing inside the hot sun and very cold weather just because I'm receiving training and that is not enough we have a specific clothes to put on and we must never put on anything apart from that clothes, that aside the food they give is something else 😂 you will never be satisfied with it and it will never feel you well.. you just have to be endure everything if not you won't last two days.. even with the high of endurance alot got sick and fainted.
Doing your best will never be enough i make sure I'm know by my activities and also achieve in camp they introduced SAED (skill acquisitions and entrepreneurship department) and in this field they will introduce so many skills to us , shoe making, computer training, computer engineering, forex trading, cryptocurrency trading, decorations, make-up artist, how to do printing, fashion designer and so on and this skills are all free.. in shot i got to learn shoe making and I'm making I'm able to know something about it i also check what is going on in forex and since I'm in the field already i just add more to it so in a nutshell i learnt both shoe making and forex trading.

In conclusions camp experience and activities that i did makes me knows alot of people both the military personnel and everyone probably because of how stubborn I'm i have a lot of friends and got opportunity my advice to everyone is that anywhere you found yourself in life make sure you do your best because you don't know who is watching, i personally participated in a lot of activities and i got what i wanted after camp... It's now time for our PPA place of primary assignment and this will last for a whole year and i wish to do my best again this is just the little experience i gathered in camp and I hope you enjoyed my story.
