In today's world, we are all running on an invisible line. From morning to night, work, responsibilities, social media, communication with people, everything, our lives are filled with a kind of endless noise. So much noise, so busy that we forget to take some time for ourselves. I sometimes wonder when was the last time I sat down completely quietly and talked to myself? Without a mobile phone, without any work pressure, just spent some time with my own thoughts? Honestly, this time has become very rare now.
I think we are distancing ourselves from ourselves. We are so connected to others but not so much with ourselves. With so much talk, so much pressure every day, a noise is created in our heads and within this noise, we slowly lose our true feelings.
I myself was in this situation once. Always busy, always thinking about something or the other. It felt like if I stopped, I would fall behind, but at one point I realized that if I continued like this, I would lose touch with myself. That's when I tried to find some time, a little quiet time, where it was just me and my thoughts.
One of the main reasons why we don't have time for ourselves these days is that we want to be constantly connected, with phones, notifications, messages, and everything keeping us busy. But this constant connection weakens our inner connection.
I think that taking some time for ourselves every now and then is not a luxury, but a necessity. Just as we rest our bodies, our minds also need rest. And that rest comes in silence.
