I am a Nigerian, a typical one for that matter. There are many things that I have to live with, either by crook or crude. Now that I have the power to be invisible, many things are in the pipeline for me.
Like they say:
A hungry man is an angry man.
An average Nigeria is angey at the way we are governed. We have been maltreated by the government, impoverished by those who ought to be servants, now emmersing our national treasury for their personal grandeur.
Hence, now that I have the power to be invisible for just twenty-four hours, the first thing that ces to mind is to arrest all politicians who have impoverished us in the midst of plenty. I know you may want to ask me for their name, but that may not be necessary. The wicked need not be introduced.
By their fruits, we sha know them.
They shall be incaserated in a secret prison where they will not be able to participate or act in their dubious capacity any more. This will bring sime sanity and caution in the political sphere of my dear nation that has been on the brink of ultimate collapse in recent time.
Since the time is short, I know I have limitation on how far I can travel to get them wind off into the secret prison where they will be housed till further notice, I will make do with the local politicians in Lagos first. Believe me, they are quite a number of them.
Exchange Rate
In my dear country, I can say openly that the government have lost control of the affairs of the state. Only some few people are dictating the pace. What I will do is to ensure that our local currency is equal with the US dollars.
This will make a lot of our politicians who have embezzled public funds become commoners too. At least, that will close the wide gao between the rich and the poor in our country.
Constitutional Amendment
There a lot of clauses that have to be changes in our national constitution. This 24 hours is an open opportunity for me to change what I feel ahould not be there and add what would help the masses.
One of such is that our electoral act will be detailed in such a way that all votes must be counted and document electronically to stop that electoral malpra ctices that is bedevilling our national life.
Also, I will add that any man whose source of welath cannot be quantified should not hold a public office.
Price Control
Consummable products are now on the rise. Low income earners can bearly feed thrice a day. Within this 24 hours, I will change the price of these products by at least 70%. And some locally made products that are too high in price will be drastically reduced.
A Visit To Central Bank
This should have been the first move but even I don not visit the apex bank, getting all other mentioned points done willl be great.
However, been invisible for 24 hours is such a great opportunity to acquire enough money. This may be greedy and not civil but I got to break the some jinx by becoming a millionnaire, or what do you think?
Rather, since our money is now valuable, I will just go for gold and diamonds.
By the time the ability not to be seen is over, a new nation would have been birthed and a new me, emmerged.
