I didn’t really think I was going to take part in the hive learners second edition of this week’s contest.
After going through some entries for the recent topic, I must say there were a lot of interesting choices. I had no idea some of us were envious of the animals😅.
I’d like to applaud the moderators of the community for coming up with yet another interesting topic for us to share our views on.👏
I have really had a hard time deciding on what animal I would want to become if I was given the chance. I’m an animal lover and so I was in a dilemma. Didn’t want to discriminate.
I thought of being a cat; gentle, smart, comfy and other great characteristics. I think this decision was based on the fact that cats are my favorite animals and I have a lot of cats as pets. They’re very great pets but they have their flaws. I’ve heard stories of cats being very loyal but I don’t really agree with that because I’ve had my own experiences with them.
Upon further consideration , I decided to go with the EAGLE. Weird choice right? You might be wondering about the reason for this choice.
Eagles are generally known to represent freedom, pride, beauty, bravery, courage, determination and a lot more. Who wouldn’t wish for all these characteristics ? Not me.
The eagle is known as the King of birds. In my opinion ,the eagle is like a mini god because why not?
It is strong, powerful, and also flies very high and swiftly as compared to other birds. Imagine flying so high you can see the whole world from above? From the ocean to the biggest plants and down to the tiniest object on the surface of the earth.
Eagles have a very long lifespan and also have almost close to prefect eyesight. Some eagles have been known to live up to almost 50 years. Being someone with a very bad eyesight, it would be nice to have perfect eyesight for a while. Being able to see everything soo clearly is a blessing.
The eagle is very independent and fearless. I find these to be very special characteristics I can relate with. Independence is necessary for growth and development.
The eagle is mostly found near water bodies with a large population of fishes. Fishes constitute a higher percentage of the eagle’s diet, followed by water birds and some other reptiles.
Did you know that the Eagle mates for life? Surprise right?
It’s a shame the eagle is sexually active than some humans.😂
One major weakness of the Eagle is that they do not share special bonds with people around then. More like they have self doubt or trust issues. Trusting people even as a human is difficult these days because people can just switch up so, I think it’s fair the Eagle has a bit of trust issues.
In all, I would choose to be an Eagle if I’m given the chance to. But we all know that some wishes cannot come true.
