Most of my personal dreams have been sitting on the fence waiting to be attended to. The everyday responsibilities of handling family, running business, and nurturing my kids make me realize that time moves so fast, and before I blink my eyes, years are passing, and yet, some things in my bucket list are yet to be attended to, but then I have also learned that some dreams shouldn't be ignored regardless.
Having said that, the top three things on your bucket list will be discussed below. First is travelling more and exploring my world. I sat down sometime last month to realize that ever since I got married, travelling, which used to be my hobby, has gradually disappeared into thin air. Imagine that prior to my marriage, I had travelled to 16 states in my country, exploring my world and adding knowledge to myself, but then, ever since family responsibilities kept creeping in and stealing my me-time, I totally forgot what I dreamed of growing up.
The only travel I have been experiencing is travelling to my hometown for the Christmas celebration. However, the idea of travelling to different places in my world is never ruled out. It is part of my bucket list to travel across my world with my family this time, not necessarily to create memories alone but to deeply understand other people's culture, something to make me more versatile and experience personal fulfillment.
Another thing on my bucket list is looking into a good investment that could be yielding me a passive income from now till my old age. Passive income is important, very important, but then, the ones I am aware of currently yield such low income, although they are safe. I have lost a lot of money in the past looking for this same passive income. While I admire a tangible one, I am being careful to avoid troubles. So yeah, this is one bucket list item. My ears and eyes are open to get the right info so I can kick up. I don't mind you reading this to share any vital updates you have about this, please. Until then, I am working on it intentionally until I achieve it.
Finally on my bucket list is ensuring that my business becomes stable. I am eager to see that my business becomes solid enough to support my family so comfortably. It's never easy to run a business here in Nigeria. A lot of things have been frustrating me. At a point, I nursed regret. I felt stranded and frustrated, but I dusted myself off and kept pushing.
Hopefully with my patience and persistence, things can turn out better going forward. I am doing my best to see changes; it will be a thing of joy to see that my effort finally paid off.
Overall, I desire to live a meaningful life. A life of impact to my family and my world at large, and seeing this top bucket list item turn into a reality will make me feel fulfilled. It might take time, but I am optimistic that someday, I will look back and smile.
